국문 초록

본 연구에서는 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스가 아동의 정서행동문제에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였으며, 이를 위해서 경기도의 3곳에 거주하고 있는 다문화가정 중학생 1, 2학년 총 210명을 대상으로 설문자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스인 지각된 차별감, 향수병, 지각된 적대감, 두려움, 문화충격, 죄책감, 기타의 요인과 아동의 내재화 정서 행동문제인 불안/우울, 우울/위축, 신체화 증상, 외현화 요인인 규칙위반과 공격행동이 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스가 아동의 정서문제행동에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 다문화가정 어머니의 지각된 차별감, 지각된 적대감, 두려움, 문화충격의 수준이 높을수록 아동의 내재화 정서행동문제 수준은 높음을 알 수 있었으며, 또한 아동의 외현화 정서행동문제 수준도 높음을 알 수 있다. 즉, 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스가 높을수록 아동의 내재화, 외현화 정서행동문제 수준은 높음으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

In this study we were to look into the influence of stress for cultural adaptation of mothers of multicultural families on children’s emotional and behavioral problems, and for this purpose we analyzed the survey materials obtained from the total 210 persons who were first and second year-students in middle schools from multicultural families that resided in three places in Gyeonggi-do. As a result of the study, first, stress for cultural adaptation of mothers of multicultural families that was perceived feeling of discrimination, homesickness, perceived hostility, fear, cultural shock, guilty conscience, and other factors had positive correlation with children’s internalized emotional and behavioral problems that were anxiety/depression, depression/shrinking, somatization, externalized factors that were violation of regulations and aggressive behaviors. Second, in the influence of stress for cultural adaptation of mothers of multicultural families on children’s emotional and behavioral problems, we could know that the higher the level of perceived feeling of discrimination, perceived hostility, fear, and cultural shock of mothers of a multicultural families was, the higher was the level of children’s internalized emotional and behavioral problem, in addition, we could know that the level of children’s externalized emotional and behavioral problem was high. Namely, it appeared that the higher was the level of stress for cultural adaptation of mothers of multicultural families, the higher was the level of children’s internalized, and externalized emotional and behavioral problems.
