경상북도 자연태음악의 소박집합, 장단유형, 전단후장

국문 초록

한국의 자연태 음악 특성 가운데 보편적인 특성은 대충 밝혀졌지만 소박집합에 의한 장단주기 박자유형, 장단유형, 같은 층위 전후 구성성분의 시가(時價)형태 등은 밝혀지지 않았으므로 동요를 중심으로 하는 경상북도 자연태 음악에 나타나는 이런 특성을 따져 봤다. 인간이 보통 헤아리는 층위의 박을 보통박(여느박=정간박) 이라 이르고 그 하층위 박을 소박 이라 할 때, 동요를 중심으로 하는 경상북도 자연태 음악에 나타나는 특성은 2소박4박자, 2소박5박자, 2소박6박자와 같이 소박이 2집합되는 박자도 있고, 3소박4박자, 3소박5박자, 3소박6박자와 같이 소박이 3집합되는 박자도 있고, 혼소박4박자, 혼소박6박자와 같이 소박이 2집합과 3집합으로 혼합 집합되는 박자도 있어 2소박, 3소박, 혼소박 집합이 두루 존재한다는 것을 알았다. 장단 주기로 리듬 통사적(형식적) 최소 구성성분인 리듬소 가 보통박을 생성하는 보통박장단(여느박장단), 대박을 생성하는 대박장단, 대대박을 생성하는 대대박장단 가운데 동요를 중심으로 하는 경상북도 자연태 음악에 나타나는 장단 유형은 보통박장단만이 존재한다는 것을 알았다. 여느리듬형 하나로 구성되는 보통장단(여느장단), 둘 이상으로 구성되는 대장단(겹장단), 하나를 구성하지 못하는 소장단(못 갖춘 장단) 가운데 동요를 중심으로 하는 경상북도 자연태 음악에 나타나는 장단 유형은 보통장단만이 존재한다는 것을 알았다. 리듬 통사적(형식적) 구성성분이 시가를 생성할 때, 같은 층위 리듬 구성성분이 전후로 시가(時價)가 같은 전후등가(前後等價) 리듬형태 , 앞 성분이 짧고 뒤 성분이 긴 전단후장(前短後長) 리듬 형태 , 앞 성분이 길고 뒤 성분이 짧은 전장후단(前長後短) 리듬 형태 가운데 동요를 중심으로 하는 경상북도 자연태 음악에 나타나는 것은 전단후장(前短後長) 리듬 형태가 많다는 것을 알았다. 이렇게 나타나는 동요를 중심으로 하는 경상복도 자연태 음악의 특성이 한국 기층음악의 보편적인 특성으로 보고 한국음악연구에 기초 자료로 삼아도 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The writer named it earlier: a beat structure whose each level of beat composes its rhythmic cycle hierarchically. What this beat structure generate is called as rhythm-pattern syntax structure , and it is also a set of hierarchical structure of the elements of rhythm-pattern syntax structure on that level. The writer also named it: a music of default form(自然態音樂) whose grammatical features show the continuous repeat of simplest form such as traditional children s song or womenfolk s songs. In such a music of default form, we have such a result: the generation of repeating one kind of beat-structure because one specific rhythm-pattern syntax structure is continuously repeated in it. However, not all of the characteristics of music of default form revealed earlier. Therefore, three more fundamental characteristics are claimed here like the followings which are seemed to be the big influences on the formation of Gyeongsang-do area s default form. First, I call a beat as a common beat(普通拍) , and there are small beats(小拍) at lower level that consists of each common beat. I found that there are many different beat structured music since there are small beats composition of 2,2.2,2 2,3.2,3 3,3.3,3 2,2.2,2,2 3,3.3,3,3 2,2,2.2,2,2 3,2,3.3,2,3 and 3,3,3.3,3,3. Those are of 4 common beats, 5 common beats, and 6 common beats respectively. Second, the beat structure of Gyeongsang-do area s default form has 2, 3, or assorted small-beat compositions only to make 4, 5, and 6 common-beats, which are contrary to that of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 in non-default musical forms. Third, within the Gyeongsang-do area s default form, the time-duration appears as shorter front, and longer back(前短後長) in generational element when rhythm-pattern syntax structure are gathered and composed its elements on the upper level of beats. Which is a contrary fact to the non-default musical forms. As a result, a couple of principles about the generation of Korean music can be added by the facts above in that there are 2, 3, and assorted small-beat compositions, and only 4, 5, and 6 common-beats are made; the time-duration appears as shorter front, and longer back in generational element.
