유럽의 협동조합형 유통기업의 사업모델 분석 및한국의 농산업에 대한 시사점

국문 초록

본 연구는 유럽 최대의 농업협동조합형 유통기업인 네덜란드 그리너리의 사업구조, 경영전략 및수익성 등을 분석함으로써, 한국의 농산업 유통부문의 혁신을 위한 시사점을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 경영활동에 대한 요인분석 결과, ⅰ) 수익 발생 요인은 사업구조의 글로벌화, 연중 안정적인 물량 공급체제, 다양한 수익 원천, 총자산의 높은 활용도 이며, ⅱ) 원가절감 요인은 공급 사슬망 구축으로 인한 물류 효율화, 생산자 조합원의 규모화로 인한 거래비용 감소 등으로 분석되고 있다. 이상에서 분석한 그리너리의 경영 사례는 한국의 농산업 유통부문의 목표인 비효율적인 유통구 조를 개선하고, 나아가 소비자 지향적인 유통전문 협동조합을 운영하기 위한 벤치마킹 대상으로서 시사점을 갖는다. 즉, ⅰ) 소비지 유통의 효율화를 위한 농협 중심의 유통 전담 자회사의 운영, ⅱ) 산지 출하조직의 규모화를 위한 조합원 운영방식의 개선, ⅲ) 거래비용 축소를 위한 산지와 소비지간 물류 네트워크 구축, ⅳ) 시장기능의 왜곡현상 방지를 위한 유통정보의 신속한 전파체계 구축, ⅴ) 부가가치 창출을 위한 품질관리 시스템 구축 등을 중점적으로 추진할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study focused on drawing the implications on Korean agricultural economy by analysing business model, management strategy and profitability of the Greenery, the agricultural cooperative type of firm in the Netherlands. The results of factor analysis related to business activities are as follows. The factors on profit-generation were ⅰ) globalization of business structure, ⅱ) all year round stable supply system, ⅲ) various profit sources, ⅳ) efficient total assets turnover rate. Meanwhile, the factors on cost-reduction were efficient logistics system under supply chain and saving of transaction costs due to scaled economy in cooperative members. These results have important implications on operating consumer-oriented distribution cooperative and improving of inefficient distribution structure in the agricultural sector in Korea. Details are as follows; ⅰ) the operation of specialized distribution firm by agricultural cooperative in consuming site, ⅱ) the improvement of cooperative members control system for large scaled shipment in producing site, ⅲ) the construction of logistics network for transaction costs-reduction, ⅳ) the efficient dissemination system of market information in order to prevent distortion of market function, ⅴ) the building of quality control system for value added.
