기업 웹사이트를 이용한 사이버 IR 정보공시 유형별 실태 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 IPO 기업들을 대상으로 자사 웹사이트를 이용한 정보 공시 내용과 정보 공시 유형별 실태를 분석하였다. 본 분석은 웹사이트와 IR메뉴 보유 여부, 사이버 IR정보의 메뉴 유형, 사이버 IR정보의 제공범위와 정보유형, 정보유형별 사이버 IR 정보공시의 내용 등을 정밀 분석하였다. 정보제공 범위는 사이버 IR의 핵심정보라 할 수 있는 주가정보, 재무정보, 공시정보를 모두 공시한 기업이 75.8%였으며, 정보유형 중 주가정보와 재무정보의 공시비율이 90.9%로 가장 높았다. 정보유형별 내용 분석에서는 실시간 주가정보를 공시한 기업이 90% 이상이었으며, 주주현황을 공시한 기업은 30.3%였다. 재무정보는 대부분 비교식 요약 재무제표 형태로 제공되었으며, 대차대조표와 손익계산서의 공시비율은 각각 90.9%였다. 공시정보 중에는 정기공시 사항인 반기보고서의 제공 비율이 87.9%로 가장 높았으며, 경영정보는 재무정보와 별도로 회사실적을 강조하여 보고한 기업이 24.2%였다. IR정보자료는 기업설명회 파일 등을 제공한 기업이 54.5%, 내부관리규정을 첨부파일 등으로 제공한 기업이 45.5%였으며, e－mail 등 투자문의 메뉴를 제공한 기업은 24.2%였다. 본 연구는 국내 IPO 기업들이 자사 웹사이트를 이용한 사이버 IR 정보 제공 범위 및 유형 등을 결정하는 데 기본 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

In this study, we analyzed the status of cyber IR information disclosure by IPO companies. For this, precision analysis was conducted on the status of holding website and IR menu, cyber IR information menu type, range of cyber IR information provision, type of IR information provided and details of cyber IR information disclosure per information type. As for the range of information provision, 75.8% of companies disclosed all of the stock information, financial information and disclosure information, the core information of cyber IR. Of the information types, the rate of disclosing financial information was the highest at 90.9%. In terms of the details of disclosure per information type, 90% or more of companies disclosed the real－time stock information and 30.3% of companies disclosed stockholders status. As for financial information, most of the information was provided in the form of comparative summarized financial statements. The disclosure rate each of balance sheet and profit and loss statement was 90.9%. Of the disclosed information, the rate of providing half－yearly report, the regular disclosure, was the highest at 87.9%. 24.2% of companies reported management information separate from financial information by emphasizing the companies performances. As for IR information data, 54.5% of companies provided corporate presentation files, etc., 45.4% of companies provided internal management rules as attached files, etc. and 24.2% of companies provided investment inquiry menu, such as e－mail. Results of this study will be of assistance to companies that have recently gone public or are intending to list their stocks in the capital market in setting the direction of cyber IR activities using the companies own websites.
