장애인 야학 교사의 교육정향성 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 장애인 야학 교사의 교육정향성이 상대적으로 페다고지 정향성이 더 강한지, 안드라고지 정향성이 더 강한지를 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 전국의 20개 장애인 야학에 근무하고 있는 교사 189명이 응답한 설문조사 결과를 분석하였으며, 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인 야학 교사의 전체적인 교육정향성을 분석한 결과, 안드라고지 정향성이 페다고지 정향성에 비해 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 장애인 야학 교사의 하위영역별 교육정향성을 분석한 결과, 교육목적과 교육평가 영역에서는 페다고지 정향성이 유의미하게 높게 나타났고, 학습자 특성, 학습경험관리, 관계 영역 에서는 안드라고지 정향성이 유의미하게 높게 나타났으며, 학습경험특성 영역에서는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 장애인 야학 교사의 일반적 특성에 따른 교육정향성의 차이를 분석한 결과, 장애인 야학 교사의 연령과 교육관련 자격증 유무에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is in realizing whether the educational orientation of educators in Korean night school for individuals with disabilities is pedagogical or andragogical. Survey results of 189 educators currently working in 20 different nationwide night schools for individuals with disabilities have been analyzed for the study, and key results are as follows: Primarily, analyzed results of overall educational orientation of educators in schools showed significantly higher andragogical orientation to pedagogical orientation. And when subordinate elements of educational orientation were analyzed, pedagogical orientation was considerably higher in elements of educational purpose and evaluation, and andragogical orientation in elements of learner attributes, learning experience management and relationship, whereas no significant difference was found in learning experience attributes. Secondly, while analyzing the difference of educational orientation according to general characteristics of educators in night schools for individuals with disabilities, meaningful difference was found depending on the age of the educator and the educator’s possession of teaching certificates.
