경기도 초등학교 서술형․논술형 교실평가 문항의 오류분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 서술형․논술형 교실평가 문항의 오류분석을 통해 구체적인 문항 출제를 위한 지침 자료를 제공하여 교사들 평가 전문성 신장에 기여하는데 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 10개 초등학교에서 출제된 2014학년도 5학년 국어, 수학, 사회, 과학 서술형․논술형 문항 총 824개 문항을 분석하였다. 문항 오류분석을 위해 먼저 문헌조사와 학교 현장교사의 검토 그리고 예비조사를 통해 문항오류 분석 준거 틀을 제작하였다. 분석결과 초등학교 5학년 서술형․논술형 문항의 오류 유형은 국어, 수학, 사회, 과학 과목별로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 구체적으로 대영역인 문항요소와 인적요소에서 문항 오류 발생 정도는 과목별로 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 소영역인 문항내용, 문항형식, 출제자, 수험자에서는 수험자 영역을 제외한 문항내용, 문항형식, 출제자 영역에서 과목별로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 전반적으로 인문사회학적 특성을 지닌 국어, 사회가 자 연과학적 특성을 지닌 수학, 과학보다 오류 유형이 많았으며, 이는 국어, 사회의 문항 제작을 위해 좀 더 전문적인 교사의 역량이 필요함을 알 수 있다. 세부적으로는 국어 과목은 지문 구성, 수학은 문장 구성, 사회는 자료 제시, 과학은 평가 목적에 적절한 평가 방법 제시 등의 오류가 많았으며, 이러한 과목별 특성을 고려한 교사의 역량강화 및 전문성 향상을 위한 맞춤형 연수 개발 등이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to contribute to the professional development of improving teachers' assessment practices. This is done by providing instructional materials through error analysis of descriptive essay classroom assessment questions in elementary school. To this end, this study analyzed a total of 824 5th-grade Korean, math, sociology, and science essay-type and descriptive-type questions on the tests at 10 elementary schools in Gyeonggi province in 2014. For the question-error analysis, the analytical framework was constructed through literature review, investigation on school instructors, and preliminary investigation. As a result of the analysis, the types of errors in 5th grade essay-and descriptive-type questions showed significant difference in the subjects of Korean, math, sociology, and science. Specifically, the error occurrence degree of questions showed significant difference by subject in the main category of question and human factor, and for sub-sectors such as question content, question format, examiner, and examinee. Every area, such as question contents, question format, and examinee, except for examinee showed significant difference by subject. In general, Korean and sociology with social science characteristics contained more error type than math and science with natural science characteristics, which signifies that more professional teaching competency is required in creating Korean and sociology questions. Specifically, there were errors in passage construction in Korean, sentence structure in math, data presentation in sociology, and proper evaluation method suggestion for science. Consequently, it would be necessary to develop customized training for strengthening teacher competency and improving specialty that considered such characteristics of each subject.
