안동 하회별신굿탈놀이 관광 실태와 개선방안에 관한 연구

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to profile tourist and to draw solutions for the improvement of Andong “Hahoe Pyolshin-Gut T'al-Nori.” The results were as follows. First, the results of profiling tourists of Andong "Hahoe Pyolshin-Gut T'al-Nori": (1) Most of Korean tourists came from Daegu and Kyungbuk province, and 30% of the foreign tourists are from overseas(the rest of them who reside in Korea); (2) Most of Korean and foreign tourists visited "Hahoe Pyolshin-Gut T'al-Nori" by car; (3) Most of Korean tourists visited with family, and most of the foreign tourists were accompanied with their friends; and (4) Most of Korean tourists got information about "Hahoe Pyolshin-Gut T'al-Nori" on T.V. and most of the foreign tourists got from their friends. Second, the implications of the results are as follows. (1) It is needed to enhanced public relations through the travel agency and publicity; (2) It is needed to distribute free pamphlets and improve bad sound facilities to make tourists better understand the program. Also, the public announcement in foreign languages(English or Japanese) should be prepared for foreign tourists; (3) The improvement of facilities will facilitate the betterment of the level of "Hahoe Pyolshin-Gut T'al-Nori"; and (4) It is needed to attract tourists by focusing on package tour with beautiful natural, abundant cultural tourism resources and "Hahoe Pyolshin-Gut T'al-Nori" in Andong.
