대학생의 에이즈에 대한 지식, 태도, 낙관적 편견에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 에이즈에 대한 지식과 태도, 관여도 그리고 낙관적 편견에 대해 살펴보고자, 2012년 12월 1일부터 12월 5일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 에이즈에 대한 지식수준이 여학생보다는 남학생이 유의미하게 높았고, 에이즈에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 보인 것은 저학년보다는 고학년이 유의미하게 높았고, 종교가 없는 학생이 종교가 있는 학생보다 자신과 관련성이 높다고 응답하였다. 그리고 성별, 학년에서 낙관적 편견에 유의미한 차이가 없었으며, 개인적으로는 에이즈가 심각하지 않지만 사회적으로는 에이즈가 심각하다고 인식했으며, 조사에 응답한 대학생들이 모두 낙관적 편견(Optimistic Bias)이 존재하며, 성관계 경험이 없는 대학생이 성관계 경험이 있는 대학생보다 낙관적 편견이 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 에이즈에 대한 태도는 지식과 정적 관계를 보였고, 관여도와 에이즈에 대한 태도는 부적관계를 보였다. 따라서 대학생을 대상으로 에이즈 예방교육의 효과를 높이기 위해서는 개인적 측면과 사회적 측면을 고려하여 에이즈에 대한 정확한 정보를 제공하여 지식수준을 높이고, 관여도를 높이며, 또한, 에이즈가 자신과 관계가 있음을 느낄 수 있도록 하여, 본인 스스로 예방할 수 있도록 에이즈 예방교육 프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This research from 2012, Dec, 1st to 5th has carried a survey covered with the knowledge and attitudes, involvement and optimistic bias about AIDS of students. The result is that female students have meaningfully higher level related to the knowledge grade about AIDS than male students, upper grade students' level connected with optimistic attitude of AIDS is significantly above lower grade students, and atheistic students have a thoughtful notion connected with AIDS more than religious students. Besides, it is no meaningful difference compared with gender and school grade toward optimistic bias, and the students are aware of it is not serious about AIDS personally but critical about that socially, also, the all students responding to this research have optimistic bias of AIDS, then, the students without sex hold more optimistic bias of AIDS than the students engaged in that. As knowledge indicated positive relationship about attitudes of AIDS, involvement presented negative relationship about that. Therefore, for raising education effect of AIDS prevention which is focused on students, correct AIDS information based on individual and social aspect should be carried on knowledge level and involvement, also, by helping students realize their concern in AIDS and doing self prevention, developing preventive program of AIDS would be needed.
