시 작품을 활용한 한국어 교육 연구

국문 초록

외국인 학습자가 한국어를 배울 때 그 사회의 언어를 많이 배울 수 있는 것이 문학작품이다. 본고에서는 문학작품중 시작품을 택하여 외국인 학습자로 하여금 한국의 문학작품을 더 빨리, 더 쉽게 이해하고 익혀서 더 많은 한국어를 알고 실생활에 활용할 수 있음을 목적으로 한다. 한국어 학습자는 문학작품이 고차원적인 언어의 산물이라는 점에서 한국어의 특수성을 이해하는 좋은 계기가 될 것이며, 또한 한국 문학을 학습하는 도구로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 한국어 교육에서의 문학교육은 그 의의를 가질 수 있다. 문학 작품, 특히 시작품은 한국어 교육 현장에서 일부 활용되고 있다. 시 작품은 그 나라의 사상과 정서를 담고 있고, 운율적인 언어의 정제된 학습 자료로써 다양한 활동을 통해 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기교육 등을 골고루 발달시킬 수 있는 교육적 가치가 높은 텍스트이다. 학습자가 시 텍스트를 쉬운 것부터 접근해서 언어를 익히고, 감상을 통하여 한국인의 정서를 충분히 느낄 수 있다는 것이 시를 매개로 한 한국어 언어 문학의 중요한 의의가 된다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 한국어 교육의 목표인 한국어교육을 살펴보고, 시를 통한 한국어 학습자의 다양한 한국어 획득의 가능성과 실제 생활에서 잘 활용할 수 있는 방법을 찾도록 한다. 그래서 실제 한국어 교육 현장에서의 한국어 학습자의 수업 목표와 학습자들의 상황에 맞는 적절한 시 텍스트를 선정하고, 그 방법을 마련한다면 학습자들에게 더 많은 흥미를 부여하고 학습 동기를 유발하여 문학작품을 쉽게 이해하고, 한국의 정서와 관련된 언어교육에 효과를 가져 오는 학습을 하게 될 것이다. 또한 다양한 한국어 사용의 기회를 충분히 제공해 줄 수 있으리라 본다. 연구 방법은 이론교육과 실제 현장교육에서의 한국어교육방법을 찾아 이론과 실제의 조화를 이루고자 한다.

영문 초록

This has resulted in the number of students learning korean as a second language expanding. Therefore, focusing on communication methods has come up with for teaching Korean to foreigners beyond the fact that we stressed teaching grammar for years in the past. To develop communication competency, importance shouldn't only be set on linguistic structure or morphology but also practicality in language. I have chosen a poetic genre of a literary work, which is very helpful for studying foreign language, to make foreigners study Korean easier. This thesis is aimed at helping foreigners learn Korean sufficiently and use it practically in daily life through the studying of poetry as well as how to make use of it to teaching foreigners. This will lead to learners understanding, the profound distinctiveness of Korean due to poetry being a highly difficult product of language. Also, usage of literary works on teaching Korean will be another great key. Poetry has been partially used on teaching Korean. Since it is based on the nation's thoughts and emotions, poetry has the value of education as a refined learning material, to develop linguistic skills such as listening, reading, writing and through various activities. It is a consequent significance of teaching Korean, through literary work. Therefore, studying with language education on a theoretical basis, this thesis will follow by finding the way to use Korean practically in daily life as well as the capability of gaining various skills by learning poems. It would motivate learners and bring more interest to them if the appropriate purposes and text were given in the field. Also, it would produce sufficient opportunities to use Korean in a diverse manner. This study aims find theories on education and thereby instructional methods in the field, and harmonize theory and reality.
