중학생이 지각한 모 양육태도가 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 중학생들을 대상으로 그들이 지각한 모 양육태도와 인터넷 중독 간의 관계를 확인하고 모 양육태도와 인터넷 중독과의 관계에서 충동성의 조절효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 총 800부의 설문지를 배부하였고, 그 중 760부를 회수하였다. 회수한 자료 중 불성실하게 응답한 자료 73부를 제외하고, 총 727부를 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 양육태도 중 돌봄은 충동성 및 인터넷 중독과 부적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 통제적 양육태도는 충동성 및 인터넷 중독과, 충동성은 인터넷 중독과 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 모 양육태도 중 돌봄과 인터넷 중독과의 관계에서 충동성의 약한 조절효과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 모 양육태도 중 통제와 인터넷 중독과의 관계에서 충동성의 약한 조절효과가 확인되었다. 즉 충동성의 수준에 따라서 모 양육태도가 인터넷 중독 수준에 미치는 영향이 다름을 확인할 수 있다. 끝으로 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대해서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was twofold. One was to investigate the relationship between middle school studentes' perceived maternal rearing attitudes and internet addictions. The other was to test the moderating effect of impulsivity in the relationship between maternal rearing attitudes and internet addictions. A total of 800 questionnaires was distributed, of which 760 of them were collected. Among them, 727 were usable for this study, and was analyzed using SPSS 20.0. Correlation and hierarchical regression analyses were performed. The results of this research were as follows. First, caring rearing attitudes of mother were found to be negatively correlated with impulsivity and internet addictions. Controlled rearing attitudes of mother were positively correlated with impulsivity and internet addictions, and impulsivity was positively correlated with internet addiction. Second, the weak moderating effect of impulsivity was observed between caring rearing attitudes of mother and internet addictions. Third, the weak moderating effect of impulsivity was observed between controlled rearing attitudes of mother and internet addictions. In short, The effect of maternal parenting attitudes on the level of internet addictions differs according to the level of impulsivity. The implications and limitations of the study were discussed.
