내현적 자기애와 사회부과 완벽주의의 관계에서 자기용서의 조절효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생이 지각한 내현적 자기애와 사회부과 완벽주의의 관계에서 자기용서의 조절효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 서울, 경기, 충청 소재의 대학생 중 284명의 자료를 분석 한 결과 내현적 자기애는 사회부과 완벽주의와 유의미한 정적상관을, 내현적 자기애와 자기용서는 유의미한 부적상관을, 자기용서와 사회부과 완벽주의는 유의미한 부적상관을 나타내었다. 내현적 자기애는 사회부과 완벽주의를 유의미하게 예측하였으며, 내현적 자기애와 사회부과 완벽주의의 관계에서 자기용서는 부적 조절효과를 나타내었다. 또한 내현적 자기애의 하위요인인 과민/취약성, 소심/자신감 부족과 사회부과 완벽주의의 관계에서 자기용서는 부적 조절효과를 나타내었으나 목표불안정, 인정욕구/거대자기 환상, 착취/자기 중심성과 사회부과 완벽주의의 관계에서 자기용서의 조절효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 이상의 연구결과는 높은 수준의 내현적 자기애와 사회부과 완벽주의로 인해 심리적 어려움을 겪는 내담자들에게 자기용서를 통한 치료적 개입이 가능함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to verify the moderating effect of self-forgiveness on the relationship between Covert Narcissism and socially-prescribed perfectionism college students perceived. For this the questionnaire was carried out to 336 college students in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungcheong, and the study materials of 284 persons were used for the analysis among them. Covert Narcissism criterion, multi-dimensional perfectionism criterion, and Korean-version state self-forgiveness criterion were used, and the correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between each variable and hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to examine the moderating effect. The significance of this study is as follows. First, Covert Narcissism showed a significant positive correlation with socially-prescribed perfectionism and Covert Narcissism and self-forgiveness showed a significant negative correlation, and self-forgiveness and socially-prescribed perfectionism showed a significant negative correlation. Second, Covert Narcissism predicted the socially-prescribed perfectionism significantly and self-forgiveness showed the negative moderating effect on the relationship between Covert Narcissism and socially-prescribed perfectionism. Also, self-forgiveness showed the negative moderating effect on the relationship between socially-prescribed perfectionism and hypersensitiveness/vulnerability, timidity/lack of confidence which were the sub-factors of Covert Narcissism. However, the moderating effect of self-forgiveness was not significant on the relationship between goal instability, acknowledgement desire/giant self-illusion, exploitation /self-centeredness and socially-prescribed perfectionism These study results revealed self-forgiveness had the moderating effect in the effect of Covert Narcissism on socially-prescribed perfectionism and implied that the therapeutic involvement was possible through self-forgiveness to clients suffering from the psychological difficulty due to a high level of Covert Narcissism and socially-prescribed perfectionism during consultation. The implications and limits of this study were discussed based on these results.
