영문 초록

This study determined the psychological capital as an important factor that positively affects the employees` job satisfaction in the foodservice industry. Furthermore, it was found the significant mediating effects of the social support on the relationship between the psychological capital and job satisfaction as well. This study finally suggested the new path of the human resources management for the foodservice industry which has difficulties in managing its organizations due to high turnover rates of employees. A surveys was conducted among 254 employees who work for fine dining restaurants, casual dining restaurants, coffee shops, bakery cafes and wine bars. The result shows that among psychological capital factors, confidence and resiliency have a positive impact on job satisfaction through social support. Social support has an effect of full mediation.
