비행적 생활요인이 남녀 청소년의 성범죄 피해경험에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 청소년의 비행적 생활요인과 성범죄 피해경험과의 관계를 밝히고, 성별에 따른 차이를 감안한 대책을 구체적으로 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 생활양식 노출이론의 이론적 배경과 관련된 선행연구를 바탕으로 연구모형을 설계하였으며, 2011년 청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 '아동청소년인권실태조사'의 중ㆍ고등학생을 대상으로 조사한 이차데이터를 활용하였다. 비행적 생활요인의 하위항목으로는 가출경험, 지위비행(음주, 흡연, 술집출입 시도), 청소년 유해업소 출입 수준으로 두었으며, 성범죄피해는 피해경험의 유무로 살펴보았다. 단순빈도분석을 통해 조사대상자의 인구사회학적 특성을 살펴보았으며, 카이제곱검정을 실시하여 성별에 따른 비행적 생활요인과 성범죄 피해경험의 차이를 살펴보았다. 최종적으로 비행적 생활요인이 남녀 청소년의 성범죄 피해경험에 대한 유발요인인지를 로지스틱 회귀분석(Logistic regression)검정을 통해 알아보았다. 그 결과 남자청소년의 경우 비행적 생활요인에서 가출경험과 유해업소 출입수준이, 여자청소년의 경우 가출경험이 성범죄 피해경험에 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났다. 검정과정에서 인구사회학적 요인을 통제한 결과, 부모의 방임수준이 남녀청소년 성범죄피해와 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과에 근거해 남녀청소년의 성범죄 피해 예방을 위한 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between juveniles' delinquent lifestyle and the sex crime victimization, and suggest alternatives for juvenile delinquency based on the difference of the gender. A research design was based on the Lifestyle-Exposure Theory and the previous studies. Secondary data, "Korean Survey on the Right of Youth and Children in 2011" which was collected by the National Youth Policy Institute, was used. The subjects were consisted of middle school students and high school students, and elementary school students were excluded since they were not asked about status delinquency or harmful entertainment place visit. Delinquent lifestyle included the experience of run away, status delinquency, and harmful entertainment place visit. Also, sex crime victimization was measured whether juveniles experience sex crime or not. Frequency analysis was conducted to examine socio-demographic characteristics. Also, it was assumed that the relationship of delinquent lifestyle and sex crime victimization would be differenciated by gender. Finally, it was analyzed whether delinquent lifestyle by gender would influence on the victimization of the sex crime using logistic regression. As a result, the experience of run away and the level of harmful entertainment place visit have significant impact on sex crime victimization for boys. On the other hand, only the experience of run away has a strong influence on sex crime victimization for girls. That is, boys who have run away experience and have higher level of harmful entertainment place visit are more likely to be sex crime victim, and girls who have run away experience are subject to sex crime victimization. However, status offenses do not influence on sex crime victimization for both boys and girls. Interestingly, with controlling socio-demographic variables, parents' neglect has significant effect on sex crime victimization for both boys and girls. In other words, juveniles who experience more parents' neglect are more likely to be sex crime victim. According to the results, policy alternatives are suggested for the prevention of juvenile sex crime victimization.
