영문 초록

Korean old people used to live in their traditional large family on the grounds of their life. And the industrialization of modern society led to a rapid change in the social system and family structure which brought change of the traditional society, recently, change into small family. These factors also have made the aged status bring on change from respect for the aged as a traditionary head of a family to feeling of annoyed one, in their family. Developed countries with the aged problems in early used to be concerned about its countermeasure by the aged themselves and control systems of the government level. But old age countermeasure of Korean old people is not almost prepared by themselves or government policy level, because our aged problems are set the period of transitional phenomenon. On this respect, this study attempts to make clear where its point at the issue is concretely how shape or form is and what its disposition is through a personal experience, in order to clarify a characteristic which the main problems of Koren old people has structurally. By the way, I want to say that the study on this subject is very difficult for me to set up its hypothesis because we don't have yet very much materials of it. The contents which are dealt with this study are as follows: 1) Various stages of the aged line 2) Residence arrangement 3) Situation of the countermeasure of the aged 4) Maintenance way of thinking structure of old age 5) Social and psychological aspects of the aged The result of analysis indicated as follows: 1) Various stages of the aged line is upward tendency from 60 old order which is related with the sixth anniversary of one's birth to 60 old order. 2) Situation of residence arrangement of the aged group took deep-root into traditional large family structure. According to this tendency, is shows that our large family structure is changing into small family and nuclear family. 3) Situation of the countermeasure of the aged in Korea is different from of its situation of Europe and America to be preparing about their countermeasure because the aged problems are set in early, as long as most of Korean old people do not provide for their future income. 4) Maintenance way of thinking structure of old age changed into from traditional family maintenance duty based on loyalty and filial piety and respect for the aged to joint responsibility both the family and the government maintenance for the aged. 5) Social and psychological aspects of the aged are as follow: first, deep concern of old age health. Second , increasing of a sence of alienation and loneliness. Third, economic condition related with livelihood. These three aspects are close related with each other and confirmation about three badness of the aged (poverty, loneliness and bad health).
