재가복지 수혜노인의 주관적 안녕감에 대한 생태학적 접근

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 재가복지 수혜노인을 둘러싼 생태학적 관련체계 구성요인들 - 개인특성변인, 미시체계(가족체계, 재가복지서비스체계), 외체계 - 이 재가복지 수혜노인의 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에 관해 포괄적으로 연구하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 서울시내에서 재가복지서비스를 받아오고 있는 만 65세 이상의 저소득 노인 287명을 대상으로 구조적 면접조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 재가복지 수혜노인들은 대체로 생활여건에 대한 만족도가 낮았으나 그 안에서도 개인적 차이가 두드러졌으며, 시간적 차원에서 볼 때 재가복지서비스 수혜 이후의 생활만족도는 재가복지서비스 수혜 이전과 비교해 크게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 위계적 회귀분석 결과 개인특성변인군이 각 체계별로 분류된 나머지 독립변인군중 노인의 주관적 안녕감을 가장 잘 설명하는 것으로 나타났으며, 가족체계변인군와 재가복지서비스체계변인군, 외체계변인군을 추가하였을 경우 전체변량의 56%를 설명해주는 것으로 나타났다. 재가복지 수혜노인의 주관적 안녕감에 관한 상대적 영향력을 살펴보면, 외향적 성격과 자아존중감이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 그 다음으로는 주거지역, 자녀의 효태도, 가족의 월소득, 재가복지서비스 만족도, 서울시 가정도우미 팀운영센터, 자녀와의 동거여부, 종교의 순서대로 주관적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the selected predictors of the subjective well-being of the elderly receiving home-based social services. The study was approached from an ecological perspective in that the individual elderly's characteristics, and their environments such as microsystem(i. e. the family system and the home-based social service system), and exosystem are explored. All of the subjects were the low-income elderly receiving home-based social services in Seoul. A structured questionnaire was used to interview a sample of 283 elderly over the age of sixty five. The major-findings were that the majority of the sample were not so satisfied with their lives; however, there were differences in the degrees of life satisfaction between the time before and after receiving home-based social services. The hierarchical regression analysis yielded the results that the magnitude of the importance of the individual characteristics was found to be larger than any other systems investigated in this study. However family system, home-based social service system, exosystem factors must be taken into consideration. It is because while the most powerful predictors of the subjective well-being of the elderly were the individual characteristics such as 'extraversion', 'self-esteem', the next were 'residential area', 'filial piety 'Hyo" and 'real income' factors in that order. Also it was found that 'satisfactions with home-based social services', 'agency of Seoul Do-woo-mi', 'living with adult children', 'religion' factors made significant contribution to the subjective well-being of the elderly. All of the variables mentioned above accounted for 56% of the research model.
