한국 대학생과 재한 중국 유학생소비자의 환경관련 정보요구도 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국 대학생소비자와 한국 대학에 유학중인 중국 유학생소비자의 환경관련 정보요구도 수준을 비교분석하였으며, 또한 환경관련 정보요구도에 영향을 미친 변수를 파악하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과를 보면 첫째, 한국 대학생소비자보다 재한 중국 유학생소비자의 경우 환경관련 정보요구도 수준이 높았으며, 절대적 수준에서 볼 때 두 집단 모두 환경관련 정보요구도 수준은 상당히 높은 편이었다. 하위 요인별로 볼 때는 한국 대학생소비자보다는 중국 유학생소비자의 경우 환경오염 예방 정보요구도 수준이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 한국 대학생소비자들의 내용별 환경관련 정보요구도에 영향을 미친 변수로는 환경친화적 소비의도, 환경정책지지도, 환경오염별 문제심각성으로 나타났다. 또한 중국 유학생소비자들의 내용별 환경관련 정보요구도에는 환경친화적 소비의도, 환경오염별 문제심각성, 환경관여도, 학년, 환경정책지지도, 환경관련 주관적 지식이 영향을 미쳤다. 한국 대학생과 중국 유학생소비자 모두 환경친화적 소비의도는 환경관련 정보요구도에 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 환경친화적 소비의도가 높다는 것은 환경친화적 소비행동의 실천과 관련성이 있으므로 환경관련 정보요구를 통해 정보를 활용하여 환경친화적 소비행동을 하기 위한 결과라 예측할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This research compares and analyzes pro-environmental consumption intention and levels of environmental information needs of Korean college students and Chinese international student consumers residing in Korea. It also examines the variables impacting environmental information needs. The research results reveal that firstly, Chinese international student consumers have a higher level of environmental information needs than Korean college student consumers. Both groups demonstrated considerably high levels of environmental information needs on a base level. In terms of sub-factors, Chinese international student consumers displayed a higher level of information needs for the prevention of environmental pollution than Korean college student consumers. Secondly, the variables affecting Korean college student consumers' environmental information needs include pro-environmental consumption intention, support for environmental policy, magnitude of environmental pollution issues. On the other hand, the environmental information needs of Chinese intentional student consumers were influenced by pro-environmental consumption intention, magnitude of environmental pollution issues, involvement with the environment, grade, support for environmental policy, subjective environmental knowledge. The environmental information needs of both Korean college student and Chinese international student consumers were affected most by the pro-environmental consumption intention. The high level of pro-environmental consumption intention is related to the practice of proenvironmental consumption, thus utilizing environmental information needs to result in proenvironmental consumption practice.
