한중물류수요와 수도권항만전략에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구목적은 수도권 한중물류수요에 대응하는 항만전략을 제시하는 데 있다. 물류수요를 측정하기 위하여 수도권에 입지한 한중항로를 운항하는 선사, 화주, 포워더 등을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 중요도 분석, T-검정, AHP분석으로 항만선택요인과 항만서비스 품질에 대한 분석을 하였고, 분석결과를 바탕으로 수도권에 인접한 항만 간 협력적 경쟁방안을 도출하기 위한 목적으로 실무자 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 분석결과 항만선택요인은 비용이 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났으며, 항만서비스품질은 적시성이 가장 중요하게 인식되었다. 비용을 제외한 모든 항만선택요인에서 선사가 화주보다 중요하게 인식하고 있었고, 항만서비스품질에 대해서는 선사보다 화주가 민감하게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 수도권에 인접하게 입지한 인천항과 평택당진항의 과도한 경쟁을 방지하기 위한 협력전략의 필요성이 제기된다. 경쟁범위와 협력범위를 설정하여 수도권역의 물동량 창출을 위해서는 공동 노력을 수행하고, 지역 내에서는 보다 나은 물류 서비스로 경쟁하는 방안으로 이를 위해서 협력적 경쟁을 위한 협의체 구성이 요구된다.

영문 초록

Purpose : The purpose of this paper is to examine the response strategies of Korean metropolitan ports' to Korea-China logistics needs. Research design, data, methodology : In line with this an intensive needs’ survey was conducted examining Korea-China shippers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders' needs, which are located in the metropolitan area, and for the purpose of examining port choice and evaluating port service quality used a questionnaire. For data analysis t-test and AHP method were deployed for this paper. Results : The research findings can be summarized as follows. First, they recognized logistics cost is the most important factor for port choice. Second, timeliness is understood the most valuable factor of port service quality. Third, shipping lines consider port choice factors more importantly than shippers except logistics cost and shippers more sensitively respond to port service than shipping companies. Conclusions : In the metropolitan area under research, there are two neighbouring ports, Incheon port and PyeongtaekㆍDangjin port. It is important to develop cooperation strategies to prevent bleeding competition. These ports need to set up a joint council to negotiate the scope of competition and cooperation between the two ports.
