친족 호칭어에 대한 실태 분석 (1)

국문 초록

이 글은 부산교육대학교 국어교육과 학생들을 대상으로 부계 친족 호칭어에 대한 실태를 분석하고 그 결과에 따른 해석을 하는 것이 목적이다. 그리하여 연구결과로 통해 친족 호칭어의 다양한 실태를 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 큰아버지가 한 명일 경우에는 ‘큰아버지’는 나타나지 않고 모두 ‘큰아빠’만 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지의 형 가운데 맏이가 되는 형에게만 ‘큰아버지’라 부르고 맏이를 제외한 형에게는 ‘작은아버지’의 호칭을 사용하는 경우도 있었다. 이는 ‘큰어머니’의 사례에서도 평행적으로 나타났다. 셋째, 작은아버지가 한 명일 경우에는 작은아버지를 ‘작은아버지’, ‘작은아빠’, ‘삼촌’이라고 부르는 세 가지 유형이 있었으며, 이 유형도 좀더 세분하였을 때, ‘서수를 붙이는 경우, 지역 또는 별명을 붙이는 경우, 접두사 ‘큰’과 ‘작은’을 붙이는 경우, 아예 구분하지 않고 부르는 경우가 있었다. 또 ‘작은아버지’와 ‘삼촌’을 구분을 하지 않은 채 모두 ‘삼촌’으로 부르는 경우도 있었으며, ‘작은어머니’도 ‘작은아버지’와 평행적인 모습을 보여 주었다. 넷째, 고모와 고모부의 경우에는 호칭어 앞에 ‘서수를 붙이는 경우, 접두사 ‘큰’과 ‘작은’을 붙이는 경우, 지역 또는 별명을 붙이는 경우, 다른 유형을 혼합하여 부르는 경우로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Kinship terms of address are explaind in Standardized speech manner and korean standard unabridged dictionary. But people use more kinship terms of address that their family use in everyday life than that. It varies in different language community. So we have question that terms and select subject of research. We investigate the actual kinship terms of address. The researchers of the study are students that major in Korean Language Education in Busan national university of education. The subjects of the study by researchers Busan national university of education are grouped into categories(a residential district, level of closeness and so on.) We surveyed kinship terms of address divided two groups. (1. a paternal family : the elder brother of one's father/the wife of the elder brother of one's father, a younger brother of one's father/the wife of one's father's younger brother, one's father's sister/ husband of one's father's sister 2. a maternal family: one's mother's sister/ husband of one's mother's sister, on one's mother's side/wife of one's mother's brother). The subjects of the study are distinguished from level of closeness, age difference. The study gave new information about various kinship terms of address and we thought about a cause that terms are divided inte various way. Prime cause is absence of education about kinship terms of address. Using various kinship terms of address doesn't matter but we can expect to communicate smoothly through appropriate edecation of Kinship terms of address.
