영문 초록

In this paper, I argue against A-movement reconstruction based on Korean scrambling data, hence further supporting the thesis against A-movement reconstruction as advocated by Chomsky (1995) and Lasnik (1999) among others. The present paper also has a nontrivial theoretical implication regarding pronominal binding, which I claim is a derivational constraint as opposed to Fox (2000) and Sportiche (2001).
