국문 초록

최근 정부는 제3차 영재교육진흥종합계획에 따라 영재성의 분야를 초월해 STEAM교육을 중심으로 창의 융합형 콘텐츠를 폭넓게 개발ㆍ적용할 전망이다. 한편 그간 STEAM 중심의 창의적 융합인재양성 정책은 그 정책적 중요성의 강조 및 보편적 확산의 노력에 비해 다양한 학습자들의 특성과 요구를 고려한 구체적 접근 방법 및 전략 면에서 논의가 부족했다. 특히 일반학생들과 다른 영재학습자들의 특성과 교육적 요구에 기반 한 STEAM교육의 적용 방안에 관한 학문적 논의가 폭넓게 이루어지지 못했다. 이에 본 연구는 영재 및 STEAM교육 관련 전문가 16명을 대상으로 델파이 조사를 실시해 영재를 위한 STEAM교육의 효율적 적용 방안을 탐색했다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 영재를 위한 창의 융합형 콘텐츠의 개발 및 적용을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The government is predicted to broadly develop and apply creativity convergence contents focusing on STEAM education beyond the field of gifted-ness according to the third general plan for the gifted education promotion these days. In the meantime, the policy for creative STEAM education focusing on STEAM has been short of a discussion in the aspect of specific approach and strategy in consideration of diverse learners' characteristics and needs compared to an effort of emphasizing and universally expanding its policy-based importance. Especially, an academic discussion failed to be made extensively about a plan for applying STEAM education based on characteristics and educational demands of gifted learners who are different from general students. Accordingly, this study tried to pursue an efficient application plan of STEAM education for the gifted by carrying out the delphi survey targeting 16 experts related to STEAM education including the gifted. The outcome of this study will be able to be utilized as basic data for developing, applying and evaluating creativity convergence contents for the gifted in the future.
