과학고 학부모의 사회적 지지와 진로변인과의 관계를 통한 진로교육 및 상담

국문 초록

본 연구는 학부모의 사회적 지지와 과학고 학생의 진로발달변인과의 관계를 살펴보고 진로교육 및 진로상담 방향을 모색하는 것이다. 학부모의 사회적 지지는 4개의 영역(정서적, 평가적, 정보적, 물질적 지지)으로 측정하였으며, 진로발달의 변인은 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로정체감을 측정하였다. 연구결과, 먼저, 학부모의 사회적 지지와 진로결정 자기효능감과의 관계에서는 학부모의 사회적 지지의 4개 하위변인 중에서는 평가적 지지가 상관관계와 설명력이 높은 변인으로 나타났다. 그리고 학부모의 사회적 지지와 진로결정 자기효능감의 5개 하위변인 중에서는 목표설정과 진로정보가 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 다음으로, 학부모의 사회적 지지와 진로정체감과의 관계에서도 학부모의 사회적 지지의 4개 하위변인 중에서는 평가적 지지가 상관관계와 설명력이 높은 변인으로 나타났다. 그리고 진로정체감의 3개 하위변인 중부지지는 자신의 이해, 모 지지에서는 능력의 자신감이 다른 하위변인에 비하여 학부모의 사회적 지지와 상관관계가 높게 나타났다. 한편, 모지지에서는 나타나지 않았지만 부지지에는 평가적 지지 다음으로 정서적 지지가 진로발달에 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구결과는 청소년기의 진로발달에 학부모의 사회적 지지가 많은 영향을 미친다는 것으로, 가정 및 학교의 진로교육과 진로상담, 그리고 학부모교육에 교육적 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among the parent's social support, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career identity. The participants were the 2nd grade of academic high school students. The parent's social support was measured by 4 sub-domains(emotion, evaluation, information, material support), and the variable of career development was measured by the career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity. The collected data were analyzed by correlation and multi-regression analysis. Based on the results, firstly, the support of evaluation in the parent's social support was the highest correlation coefficient and the powerful variable. The goal-setting and the career information in the career decision-making self-efficacy had a higher correlation coefficient. Secondly, the support of evaluation of the parent's social support was the highest correlation coefficient and the powerful variable in the relationship between the parent's social support and career identity. The understanding of the father's support of the career identity, and the confidence of mother's support of the career identity were higher than the other's sub-variables. On the other hand, the father's emotional support affected on the career development, but the mother's emotional support didn't affected on the career development. This study was revealed that the third grade of high school students' career development was much influenced by the parent's social supports. The result imply that the education for the parent is important as well as students in the career education and counseling.
