국문 초록

본 논문은 과학으로부터 얻은 지식과 비전을 통해서 신학의 쇄신을 가져왔던 피에르떼이야르 드 샤르댕의 인간이해의 독특성을 탐구하고, 그로부터 오늘날 한국에서 새롭게 부상하는 생태신학적 원리들을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 떼이야르의 주요저서들을 세밀히 분석한 제1부에서는 그의 인간과 우주에 대한 이해가 근본적으로 인격주의적 특성이 있다는 것을 밝힌다. 제2부에서는 그의 인격주의적 인간과 우주이해로부터 오늘날 생태신학이 근거해야할 중요한 원리들을 신학적으로 조명한다. 첫째, 생태신학은 자연주의적 생태영성을 극복해야 한다. 물질이 생명의 모태일 뿐만 아니라 물질의 심장이 우주적 ‘영’임을 간과해서는 안 된다. 둘째, 생태신학은 자연을 신격화하는 범신론적 접근이나 자연주의적 내재주의에 머물러서는 안 되며, 오히려 초월적이고 인격적인 하느님의 흔적을 분별해야 한다. 셋째, 생태신학은 그리스도 중심적이어야 한다. 그리스도의 육화의 원리에 정초한 그리스도 중심의 생태신학은 그리스도의 우주적 본성을 자기 것으로 삼아야 하며, ‘그리스도의 몸(corpus Christi)’인 우주의 종말론적 원리를 취한다. 넷째, 생태신학은 교회론적 원리로서 성사적 특성을 드러내야한다. 물질, 자연, 인류 전체를 그리스도의 몸으로 변화시키는 성체성사의 신비는 그리스도의 몸인 교회의 신비를 드러내는 장이기 때문이다.

영문 초록

This article aims to explore the characteristics of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's understanding of human and universe, and, from his view point, to draw the principles of eco-theology that newly emerges today in Korea. The analysis of his major texts shows that his understanding of human and universe is essentially personal. His understanding of personal human and universe gives us several principles of eco-theology: The first principle is to repulse the eco-spirituality based on naturalism. The fact that material is a fountain of life points out the need of respect for material, but we should not fail to understand the existence of the universal ‘spirit’ which is essential for material. The second principle is that eco-theology should discern God's transcendental and personal footprint from pantheism and the intrinsicism of naturalism. The third principle is that eco-theology should be Christ-centered. The Christ-centered eco-theology uses the principle of God's incarnation and the eschatological principle of the universe which is ‘body of Christ’. The fourth principle is that eco-theology should reveal the ecclesiological principle and the sacramental natures. The mystery of Eucharist which transforms material, nature and humans into the body of Christ reveals the mystery of the Church that is also the body of Christ.
