만 2세 반 담임교사의 팀티칭 보육 경험에 관한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집 만 2세 영아반 2반이 한 교실에서 팀티칭하는 교실운영에 대한 내러티브탐구이다. 연구 참여자는 한 교실을 공동 보육하는 만 2세 영아반 담임교사 1인이다. 자료수집은 2011년 4월 15일부터 2011년 10월 22일까지 이루어졌으며, 심층면담을 통한 면담자료, 수업협의 자료, 반성적 저널을 통해 자료가 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 귀납적 분석방법에 의해 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 두 교사의 상충되는 서로 다른 교육 가치관, 동등하지 않은 두 교사의 불편한 동행을 통해 맥락 단절된 수업 바통 넘기기를 하고 있었다. 또한, 교사 대 영아 비율 2:14가 1:14로 되는 현상이 생기기도 하면서 교사들은 때로는 '내 반, 네 반', 때로는 '우리 반'이라는 이중적인 잣대로 영아를 만나는 불편한 진실이 있었다. 둘째, 두 교사는 동고동락하며 교실운영에 대한 서로의 견해를 좁히고자 하였고 긴장을 늦추지 않고 좋은 교사로 지향하며 서로에게 배우는 기회를 가졌다. 뿐만 아니라, 서로 다른 두 교사가 팀티칭으로 보육하기 위해서는 서로 소통하고 양보하며 협업이 이루어졌다. 본 연구는 만 2세반 2개 반이 교실 공간을 함께 사용하는 팀티칭 운영에서 변화가 필요한 불편한 진실과 이러한 불편함을 긍정적인 동행으로 전환하는 노력을 드러냄으로써 효율적인 협업이 될 수 있음을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

This study is a narrative study on classroom operation in which team teaching is made in a classroom of two-year-old children's section in a daycare center. Participants of the study are two co-teachers of two-year-old children's section. Data have been collected from April 15 to October 22 in 2011 through in-depth interviews, teaching plans and reflective journals. They were analyzed by inductive analysis. According to the results, two teachers delivered the ball to other's net by giving contextually unconnected class to the counterpart through uncomfortable accompaniment with the other teacher because of different sense of value on education and unequal status between them. There was an uncomfortable reality that they meet children with ambivalent senses such as 'my class', 'your class' and sometimes 'our class' making the teacher to children ratio from 2:14 to 1:14. Secondly, they tried to narrow the gap in class operation, tried to be a good teacher and had opportunity to learn from the counterpart sharing their joys and sorrows together. Additionally, they communicated and cooperated to take care of children through team teaching. This study suggested that efficient cooperation could be made by showing efforts to transit uncomfortable accompaniment and inconveniences that should be changed in team teaching operation having two classes in a classroom to the positive accompaniment.
