특수교육에서의 스마트러닝 교수매체 활용실태와 스마트러닝 교수매체에 대한 인식 조사

국문 초록

이 연구는 특수교육에서 스마트러닝 교수매체의 활용 실태를 살펴보고, 스마트러닝 교수매체에 대한 교사들의 전반적인 인식을 파악하여 이에 대한 요구사항 및 개선방안에 대한 기초 자료를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 장애영역별(정신지체, 시각, 청각, 지체) 총 14개 학교에 재직하고 있는 교사(유·초·중·고·전공과) 232명에게 설문조사를 하였다. 설문조사 응답한 결과를 요인별로 빈도분석과 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 특수학교 교사들이 교육활동에서 스마트러닝 교수매체를 활용하는 빈도가 다소 낮은 것으로 파악되었다. 스마트러닝 교수매체는 특정 교과에 국한되지 않고 다양한 교과에 적용되어 사용되고 있으며, 기존 수업에 비해 학생들의 동기유발, 집중력 향상, 반복연습 및 개별학습의 기회를 제공하는데 효과적이라고 인식하고 있었다. 반면 개선되어야 하는 문제점은 화면의 크기와 터치 민감도 등 사용상의 불편함, 보급되어 있는 스마트기기의 부족, 장애학생을 위한 교육용 콘텐츠 부족 등으로 나타났다. 또한, 스마트러닝 교수매체의 활용에 대해 특수학교 교사들은 대부분 필요하다는 인식을 갖고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 그러나 실제 교육활동에서 스마트러닝 교수매체를 활용하지 않는 이유는 학교 현장에 보급되어 있는 기기가 제한적이고 특수학교 학생들의 특성을 반영하지 못하고 있기 때문이라고 응답하였다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study are to look into the actual utilization of the smart learning teaching media in special education and to provide basic materials of the requirements and improvement plans through the overall comprehension on awareness of the teachers for the smart learning teaching media. The results from this study were as follows. First, in terms of analyzing the status of actual utilization of smart learning teaching media, it has been found that the frequency of special school teachers’usage of the smart learning teaching media in actual education activities was a little low. And the utilization of smart learning teaching media was not limited to a specific subject, but which the smart learning teaching media has been used in various subjects and was effective in providing opportunities of motivation, improving the concentration ability, the repetitive practices and the individual practices compared to the previous classes. Second, it has been found that the special school teachers had an overall consensus of the necessity of utilization the smart learning teaching media. On the other hand, the reasons why the smart learning teaching media were not used widely in actual education activities were various on the points that the devices that were used in schools were limited, and the educational contents considering the actual characteristics of the special school students were lacked. Furthermore, there were the inconveniences in the terms of technique on the size and the touch sensitivity. if such issues will improve, more and more smart learning teaching media will be used in education activities.
