Recently new administration are focusing on the win-win situation of co-prosperity between Chaebol and small & medium enterprise(hereafter, SME). As a few SMEs were good at identifying and realizing business opportunity in advance, they are inclined to achieve sustainable growth in foreign markets. Given that higher uncertainty, born global carrying on early internationalization can be useful role model to be 'creative economy' initiated by newly elected administration. That is, a study on eliciting key success factors from early internationalization deserves to be explored. However, the topic on born globals is required to consider systematic approach because of liability of foreignness and liability of newness. Meanwhile, extant research has been limited to consider linear relationship between antecedents and performance. In other words, this research proposes that integrated approach should be considered to induce rigorous causal relationship among antecedents, mediating variable and performance. Under those circumstance, authors will elaborate early internationalization model of born global in accordance with external environment and internal organization. Therefore, longitudinal single case study will be applied to describe the success story of Simone Inc. According to in-depth case analysis, we suggest early internationalization model of born global in emerging market. Conceptual research model mediated by strategic orientation was designed to consider both internal organization(founder-manager, internationalization resource, niche strategy, network) and external environment(product market, global industry potential, home market, global customer, government) simultaneously. More specifically, both internal and external characteristics influence strategic orientation, and in tum strategic orientation mediates between antecedents and performance. Moreover research propositions were generated to explain the existence of different key success factors by growth stages. First of all, founder-manager's vision and experience, export-based activity, and foreign network building will be relatively important factors in an introductory stage. In growth stage, the success of born global depends on international entrepreneurship embodiment, niche market specialization, and FDl-based mode of entry. In maturity stage, the sustainability of viable strategy and foreign network relationship will contribute to internationalization performance of born global. In the end, this study suggests that the phenomenon of born global follow incremental, sequential process of internationalization. Future study is to conduct rigorous empirical research that antecedent, mediating variable and internationalization outcomes are integrated on non-linear research model. As well, practical implication is required to build international entrepreneurship oriented organization of born global in emerging market.
