국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국의 수출에 많은 기여하고 있는 정보통신산업의 지속가능성장 역량을 측정하고 정책방안을 제안하는 것이다. 정보통신산업은 기술적, 환경적 니즈의 변화가 심하여 시장 예측의 불확실성이 크다는 특징을 가지고 있다. 따라서 IT산업의 불확실성을 보다 효과적으로 통제하고 경쟁력 유지와 육성에 도움을 줄 수 있는 정책적 고려가 필요하다. 이러한 관점에서 실증적 분석을 위해 8개 IT분야에 대해 관련 분야 전문가들로부터 설문을 수집하였으며 유효 표본은 189개이다. 분석결과, 우리나라 IT산업에서 무형자원과 산업생태계 역량이 글로벌 경쟁기업에 비해 저조한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 역량은 기업 경쟁력의 달성과 지속성에 큰 영향을 주는 요인인 만큼 이러한 취약점을 개선시킬 수 있는 방안이 필요한 때이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to evaluate sustainable growth capacity of ICT Industry which contributes to increase exports of Korea and to propose policy directions for government to boost the industry. ICT industry has the feature that market uncertainty is high, not least because technological and environmental needs undergo a sharp change. Therefore, it is essential to construct policy alternatives to control global ICT market uncertainties and to maintain its competitiveness. From this point of view, the study collected 189 questionnaires focused on 8 IT industry sectors from related experts. The empirical study shows that intangible resources and industry eco system capability of Korean firms are lower than those of their global rivals. As these capabilities are critical factors for companies to achieve corporate competitiveness and to sustain their market position, it is time for supplementing these weakness to improve its competitive power from strategic point of view.
