필리핀 청소년의 우울, 불안에 따른 자살위험성

국문 초록

이 연구는 필리핀 청소년 115명을 대상으로 우울과 불안에 따른 자살위험성 정도와 자살 위험성 영향 요인을 확인하기 위한 횡단적 서술적 상관관계연구이다. 이 연구결과 자살 위험성은 우울, 불안과 정적 상관을 보였으며, 자살위험성이 높은 상위 25% 그룹과 위험성이 낮은 하위 25% 그룹 간 우울과 불안점수는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 자살위험성에 영향을 미치는 변인을 알아본 결과 우울과 불안 변인으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This a descriptive correlational study to identify the relationship among depression, anxiety, and suicide probability in Filipino adolescents. Data were collected from 115 students who understood the purpose of the study and agreed to participate. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Hest, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Logistic regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. There were significant differences in depression and anxiety between upper 25% and lower 25% group of suicide probability. As a result, depression and anxiety are accepted as significant factors. Programs for preventing and managing Filipino adolescents' suicide should be developed based on results of the present study. Further research is necessary in order to draw consensus on roles of the related factors of suicide probability.
