국문 초록

이 연구는 민간경비업에 종사하고 있는 경비원들이 생각하는 직무환경에 대한 인식을 파악하고, 이러한 환경으로부터 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 관계를 규명하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구문제를 검증하기 위해 조사는 편의추출을 통하여 현재 서울지역 민간경비업체에 재직하고 있는 경비원 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였고, 그 중 유효한 설문지 149부를 분석대상에 이용하였다. 조직몰입은 개인과 조직간의 상호작용으로 나타나며, 조직몰입 정도는 개인차에 따라 상반된 결과를 나타내기 때문에, 개인적 특성을 통제변수로 선정하여 직무 환경에 따른 조직몰입의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 직무환경 요인 중 상사와 동료직원과의 긍정적인 관계가 조직몰입을 형성하는데 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과로 민간경비업체에서는 상사와 동료와의 관계가 조직몰입에 중요한 요인임을 인식하여야 한다. 그리고 직무몰입을 높이기 위해서는 직장 상사와 부하간의 긍정적인 피드백이 필요하며, 또한 동료들과의 상호협조와 원만한 관계가 유지될 수 있도록 개인 의견을 교환할 수 있는 기회를 많이 마련해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to understand the perception of the security guards, who are involved in a private security firm, of their job environment, and to inquire into the influential relationship of such an job environment on organizational commitment. For this purpose, this study used multiple regression analysis. In an effort to verify the subject of inquiry, this study made a questionnaire survey of 200 security guards currently working for private security firms in Seoul district through convenience sampling, and used the collected 149 copies of questionnaire. Organizational commitment indicates the interaction between an individual and an organization, and the level of organizational commitment indicates the conflicting result according to individual difference; for this reason, this study analyzed the relationship of organizational commitment consequent on job environment by selecting individual characteristics as a control variable. The result of analysis found that the positive relationship between a superior and co-workers had an influence on forming organizational commitment. Such a research result implies that a private security firm are required to perceive that the relationship between a superior and co-workers is a major factor in organizational commitment. In addition, in order to enhance job commitment, there needs to be some feedback between a supervisor and subordinates at a workplace, and also more opportunities need to be prepared for exchanging individual views in order to maintain mutual cooperation and smooth relations with colleagues.
