학교생활 적응성이 학교폭력 가해경험에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록

최근 학교폭력은 각종 언론 등에서 중요한 사회문제로 다루어지고 있다. 이러한 현상은 단순히 신문과 TV 그리고 SNS(Social Network Service)상에서 거론된 후 사라지는 것이 아니라 대한민국의 꿈과 미래인 청소년들이 학교폭력으로 좌절하고, 급기야는 자살에 이르기 때문에 사회 모든 분야의 관심과 방안이 절대로 필요한 것이다. 또한 학교 폭력예방을 위해 시청, 경찰, 교육청, 학교 교사, 학부모, 청소년 상담 센타 등 다양한 관계기관의 협조와 노력이 있어야 하겠다. 이와 관련해서 무엇보다도 먼저 학교폭력의 근본적인 원인을 연구해서 그 분석결과를 토대로 방안을 마련하는 것이 시급한 문제일 것이다. 이 논문은 성별, 성격, 경제력, 학업성적, 부모형태 등 인구사회학적 특성과 학교생활 적응성으로 교사와의 관계, 학우와의 관계, 학업성취도, 학교규칙준수 등 4개 하위변수 그리고 학교폭력 가해경험으로 금품갈취(강요) 가해경험과 신체(언어)폭력 가해경험 등 2개 하위변수를 두었으며, 총 32문항으로 자기응답식 설문을 통해 구성하였다. 인구사회학적 특성을 제외한 모든 문항은 영향관계를 분석하기 위해 Likert 5점 척도로 측정하였으며, SPSS Statistics 20 for Windows 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 학교생활적응성의 차이분석의 경우 가정의 경제력과 학업성적은 학교생활 적응성 4개 하위변수에 모두 유의미한 평균값의 차이를 보여 가정의 경제력이 부유할수록 그리고 학업성적이 좋을수록 학교생활에 잘 적응하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 외향성의 학생이 내향적인 학생보다 교사와의 관계와 학우와의 관계에서 좋은 적응성을 나타냈다. 학교폭력 가해경험의 경우는 성별에서 주로 남학생이 여학생보다 신체(언어)폭력 가해경험이 높은 것으로 분석되었으며, 학업성적이 낮은 학생과 편부모 학생이 금품갈취(강요) 가해경험에서 높게 나타났다. 또한 학교생활 적응성 중에서 교사와의 관계와 학교규칙준수는 금품 갈취(강요) 가해경험과 신체(언어)폭력 가해경험 모두에게 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으며, 학업성취도는 신체(언어)폭력 가해 경험에 역시 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단되어 학교생활 적응성 분석을 통해 학교폭력 가해경험을 해소하기 위한 의미있는 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Recently the school violence has been dealed with an crucially social problem in the mass media etc. Because the young people who are the future of the Republic of Korea suffer from the school violence and finally reach to suicide, such a phenomenon does not disappear right after being discussed on the newspapers and TV and SNS (Social Network Service). So the corncern and the plan are absolutely needed in all sectors of society. In this regard, the first thing we need to do is to study the root cause of the school violence and come up with ways on the basis of data analysis. This paper is composed of total 32 questions including demographicsociological characteristics such as gender, personality, economic strength, academic records, parents shape and the school life adjustment of four sub-variables like schoolteacher relationship, schoolfellow relationship, learning achievement, school regulation observance and the bullying experience of two sub-variables such as extortion(compulsion) experience, the body(language)violence experience. All questions except for demographic-sociological characteristics has been measured by Likert 5-point scale to analyze influence relationship and analyzed by SPSS Statistics 20 for Windows. In the case of difference analysis of the school life adjustment by demographic-sociological characteristics, the economic strength and the academic records have shown the significant differences of mean value in four sub-variables of the school life adjustment. Moreover, extrovert showed the good adjustment in the teacher relationship and schloolfellow relationship than introvert. The case of the experience of bully has been analyzed that the boy students are higher than the girl students in the body(language)violence experience. On the other hand, the analysis showed that the students who have low school records and single parents are higher in the extortion(compulsion) experience. In the middle of the school life adjustment, the teacher relationship and school regulation observance showed negative(－)effect on both the extortion(compulsion) experience and the body(language)violence experience. Learning achievement also showed negative(－)effect on the body(language)violence experience.
