국문 초록

20세기 말 이후 코소보민족문제가 진행 중인 발칸지역은 구유고 연방국가들의 유고 연방 이탈 및 체제 전환에 따른 민주화와 시장 경제가 활성화되면서 글로벌 정치와 경제 분야에서 그 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 최근 코소보의 민족분규 해결방안과 발칸의 정체성 등은 EU, NATO의 관심증대에 따라 코소보 주민들의 자체적 결정을 존중할 것이냐의 문제로 초점이 맞추어지고 있다. 다수의 뜻에 따른 독립국가, 민주화, 그리고 민족문제의 평화적 해결이 유럽국가들과 발칸의 정체성이 되어야 한다고 본다. 유럽은 정치, 경제, 역사 그리고 문화적으로 세계 각 국가에 모범이 되는 지역이다. 유럽의 평화가 세계평화를 좌우한다고 인식된다. 발칸지역의 민주적 정체성재건을 위해서는 코소보독립의 문제는 코소보 내다수 주민의 뜻에 따라 결정되는 것이 바람직하다고 본다. 향후 발칸의 평화가 바로 세계평화의 중요한 모범적인 해결 잣대중 하나가 될 것이다. 유럽 근현대사에서 발칸의 중요성 척도는 민주적이고 평화적으로 코소보문제를 해결해야하는데 달려 있는 것이 아닌가 인식된다. 이것이 발칸의 정체성재건의 핵심이라고 본다. 본 연구는 코소보문제의 평화적 해결을 통한 발칸지역의 정체성재 건은 다수민족의 의사를 존중해주는 민주적 평화가 발칸지역에 자리 잡는데 있음을 강조하였다.

영문 초록

As the Federation of Yugoslavia is transformed into separate nation-states, due to collapse of communism system, development of democratization and marketing economic system, The ethnicity and conflict of Kosovo in the Balkans have important influence on global politics and economic change after 1990. Recently solving ideas of Kosovo ethnicity and the Balkans's identity are focused on self-decision of Kosovo which is independence of Kosovo or taking part in the Federation of Serbia with interests of EU and NATO. Democratic history of the European countries is the model of politics, economy, and culture all over the world. And I think that the peace of Europe is the determinant of the peace of the world. I hope that Kosovo's independence issue should be decided by Kosovo for reconstruction of demoractic identity in the Balkans. In future peace of the Balkans will be one of the influential models that evaluates world peace by level of the Balkans' peace. Criteria of the Balkans' importance in the history of European countries rely on solving Ethnicity of Kosovo through global peaceful and democratic methods. I will introduce that these are determinants of the Balkans' reconstructed identity. This study discuss global democratic peace which respect the major opinion and co-existing other races and ethnics. And this article shows that for reconstructing the Balkans' identity, democratic peace for solving Kosovo ethnicity problems should be built in the Balkans
