학교평가와 대학평가 연구동향 비교분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 지금까지 수행된 학교평가와 대학평가에 관한 연구동향을 비교분석하여 교육기관 평가 연구의 특징을 파악하고 교육기관 평가를 보다 효율적으로 수행하는데 필요한 기초 정보를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 연구 주제면에서 학교평가 연구는 학교평가 인식 연구, 대학평가 연구는 대학평가 모형연구가 주류를 이루고 있었다. 전반적으로 연구주제는 평가모형 연구, 평가인식 연구, 평가실태 연구의 경향성을 보였다. 둘째, 연구방법 면에서 학교평가 연구는 양적연구, 대학평가 연구는 문헌연구가 활발히 진행되었다. 셋째, 자료분석방법 면에서는 학교평가 연구와 대학평가 연구 모두 문헌분석이 주를 이루면서 양적분석 방법도 다양화 되고 있었다. 하지만 질적분석 방법은 매우 미흡하였다. 향후 교육기관 평가 연구의 제언으로는 연구주제의 다양화, 학교평가 연구와 대학평가 연구를 바탕으로한 개별 교육기관의 특정 부서, 예를 들어 교수학습센터, 취업지원센터 등의 질적 개선을 위한 평가모형 개발, 연구동향 분류기준의 확대 등을 지적하였고, 추후에는 다양한 검색엔진의 활용 및 오프라인에서도 더 많은 학위논문과 학술지 논문을 대상으로 분석할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the research trend of school evaluation and university evaluation to find out aspects and characteristics of researches. By doing so, it purposed to provide basic information for conducting educational institution evaluation efficiently. The findings were as follows. First, while the subjects of school evaluation researches were mainly surveys on the recognition of school evaluation, university evaluation researches were university evaluation model development. Generally, the subjects of researches were evaluation model development, the recognition of school evaluation, the actual conditions and improvement directions of evaluation. Secondly, in the aspect of inquiry method, while school evaluation study used a lot of quantitative research methods, university evaluation study adopted documentary research methods mostly. Third, in the aspect of data analysis, school and university evaluation both used documentary analysis mainly. Also, diverse quantitative analysis methods were utilized. However, qualitative analysis methods were not used that much. This study suggest that it needs more diversification of research subjects, the expansion of research trend analysis criteria, evaluation model development research for educational institution department(center for teaching and learning, center for employment support, etc). For further studies it also needs more data collection on educational institution evaluation through diverse channels.
