영문 초록

This study focuses on the officially recognized language examinations for German as a foreign language in Korea and analyses and compares them in regard to structure and question-types. There are three sorts of language examinations available: 1) the examinations of the Goethe-Institut (GI), 2) FLEX -German of Hankuk niversity of Foreign Studies, and 3) the German Suneung -Examination (Suneung: College Scholastic Ability Test). The Goethe-Institut offers proficiency tests for different levels on a "pass or fail" basis, which means, the examinee has to decide in advance, which test he wants to take. FLEX -German comprises all levels. The level of proficiency is certified according to the total points acquired. The Suneung-Test applies the same system of evaluation as FLEX. The GI -tests and FLEX -German are based on authentic language materials and combine different types of questions (objective question-types like multiple choice questions, subjective question-types like short answers or essays etc.). In contrast to this the Suneung -test features only multiple choice questions. Moreover, the GI -tests and FLEX -German comprise a written and an oral part and thus cover all four language skills, whereas the Suneung-test is just a written test, focusing on grammar and reading comprehension. In dieser Arbeit werden verschiedene, in Korea allgernein zugangliche Prüfungen fur OaF vorgestellt und in Bezug auf Aufbau und Fragetypen analysiert und verglichen, Man kann in Korea folgende offiziell anerkannte Prüfungen ablegen: 1) die vorn Goethe-Institut abgenommenen DaF-Prüfungen, 2) FLEX-Deutsch der Hankuk University of Foreign Studies und 3) die Deutsch-Prüfung im Rahmen der koreanischen ReifePrüfung Suneung. Oas Goethe-Institut bietet je nach Sprachstufe verschiedene Prüfungen an, die mit .bestanden" bzw. .rucbt bestanden" bewertet werden, d.h. der PrilfIing muss sich im Vorfeld fur eine Stufe entscheiden. FLEX-Deutsch besteht aus einer einzigen Prüfung, die inhaJtLich aJle Stufen umfasst. Aufgrund der erreichten Gesamtpunktzahl wird dann der Grad der Sprachkompetenz zertifiziert. Die Suneung-Prüfung bewertet nach demselben Verfahren wie FLEX. Wahrend fur die GI - Prüfungen und FLEX - Deutsch authentisches Sprachrnaterial verwendet wird und die Prüfungen verschiedene Fragetypen (Multiple Choice, frei formuLierte Antworten etc.) umfassen, besteht die Suneung-Prüfung nur aus Multiple-Choice-Fragen. Ein weiterer nterschied besteht darin, dass die beiden erstgenannten Prüfungen aus einem schriftlichen und einern rnundlichen Teil bestehen und damit alle vier Sprachfertigkeiten testen, wahrend die Suneung-Prüfung, die nur einen schriftlichen Teil enthält, lediglich auf Grammatik und Leseverstandnis fokussiert.
