물류아웃소싱 서비스 활용실태에 관한 연구

국문 초록

급속한 글로벌 경쟁 환경의 변화 로 인해 산업 전반에 걸쳐 큰 변화를 맞이하고 있는 가운데 물류산업이 국가경제에서 차지하는 비중이 점차 증대되고 있다.이러한 시점에서 기업들이 지속적인 경쟁우위를 창출·유지하기 위해서는 고객에게 경쟁사가 제공하지 못하는 차별화된 가치를 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 기업들은 차별적 요소를 물류관리의 아웃소싱을 통해 고객에게 차별화된 서비스를 제공함으로서 원가우위와 가치차별화를 달성할 수 있다고 보고 있다. 본 연구에서는 화주기업의 3PL업체 미래 활용 및 선정에 어떠한 요인이 영향을 미치는가를 검증하기 위하여 세 가지 목적에 초점을 맞추고 있다.첫째,3PL업체의 서비스,둘째,3PL업체 선정을 위한 의사결정,셋째,화주기업의 물류성과에 미치는 영향 등으로 구분하였다.본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 실태분석은 국내의 3PL업체와 거래관계를 유지하고 있는 제조기업 및 서비스기업을 대상으로 하여 187개의 표본을 추출ㆍ분석하였다. 분석 결과,설문에 응답한 대부분의 화주기업들은3PL업체와 지속적인 관계유지와 적극적인 마케팅 전략이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 효율적인 물류업무와 물류비 절감을 위해서 물류전문기업인 3PL업체를 이용하고 있으며,향후 특정3PL업체와의 지속적인 계약관계를 유지하기를 원하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Globalization of corporation and ensuring competitive pressures has placed an increasing dependence on the ability of organization to deliver customer-adapted products all over the world quickly and on time. This has placed a number of demands on the logistics system and has become a rapidly developing area of investigation. Facusses on three constructs that we believe are the primary determinants of the criterion for selection and future usage of third party logistics services. These constructs are : extent of usage of the third party logistics services; decision making process for choosing contract logistics services provider; and impact of the performance of contract logistics services on organization. An empirical research was carried out in Korea to study the impact of these three factors on the criterion for selection and future usage of third party logistics services in Korea. Results based on an analysis of data relating to 187 Korea-based firms indicate that most users of these services are satisfied with their providers and believe that has led to positive development within the organization. With a high current level of satisfaction, a large number of these firms are likely to increase their usage of contract logistics services moderately or substantially.
