Exchange among countries has become more active in the world. As result, it became easy to exchange their cultures. The internet has contributed these results. Korean culture also started through the entertainment field, by the exporting of dramas and movies since the start of the 21st century. This is called "Hallyu(The Korean wave)" ’ and the trendy has started from the vicinal country, China. Also the Korean wave has been expanding beyond China and Japan to Southeast Asia and the Middle East, etc. The current situation has led to the purchase of the album and goods related to entertainer beyond simply singing a song or being a fan. Since 2000, the preference, not only Korean culture such as drama, pop-songs and movie, is shown in Korean related
goods like Kimchi, Korean hot peeper paste, Korean noodle soup, housewares and so on. All this phenomenon is called Hallyu. It has had an effect on marketing Korean products, exporting Korean culture and contents, as well as the Korean tourism industry. In addition, Korea's national prestige has been extended through showing Korea to the world. In the research, the effect of Hallyu in exporting to various countries such as Japan, China, Southeast Asia and FDI has been analyzed. A conclusion of this paper is as follows; First, the effect of the export of content goods of Korea showed positive to Japan, China, Southeast Asia but it did not increased constantly as time passes. For instant, Japan showed declines after slight up-and-downs, Southeast Asia comes to "0" after little fluctuations and China maintains small growth. Second, in cases of investment in the manufacturing industry in the effect of the export of content goods of Korea to direct foreign investment, Japan converge on "0" after fluctuations of a narrow range, Southeast Asia maintains a plus effect after repeating fluctuations of a narrow range and only China shows increasing. Meanwhile, 3 cases in the non manufacturing industry converged on "0" in long terms Finally, in short, the export of content goods of Korea just has had a short-term effect, and no connection to the regular goods export. It also has some effect on the
direct foreign investment of the manufacturing industry to some point, but it rarely influences the non manufacturing industry. It is full of suggestions that Korean entertainment companies enter into Japan's broadcasting industry using the Korean wave and gets popularity. Therefore, the method has to be found for a successful complex business, including Hangul and Korean-style food to keep going Hallyu without committing
the error of Hong Kong's martial arts movie industry.
