국문 초록

본 연구는 물류관리시스템의 성과를 향상시킬 수 있는 시스템을 설계․운용하기 위해 환경불확실성과 물류관리시스템 정교성 간의 적합성이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 물류성과를 극대화하기 위한 정책 수립 시에 합리적인 지침을 제시하고자 하는 것이 주된 연구목적이다. 실증분석결과, 물류관리시스템 정교성 수준은 기업이 처한 환경과 상호관계를 형성하고 있으며, 환경불확실성에 따른 물류관리시스템의 정교성을 유지하는 기업만이 생존이나 성과 향상을 기대할 수 있다는 연구결과를 보이고 있다. 다음으로 환경불확실성과 물류관리시스템 정교성 수준 간의 적합성이 높은 기업이 낮은 기업보다 물류성과가 높게 나타나고 있다. 이는 높은 물류성과를 달성하기 위해 무엇보다도 환경불확실성에 대처하여 정교한 물류관리시스템을 유지하여야 한다는 연구결과이다. 이러한 연구결과에 의해 기업의 물류성과를 제고시키기 위한 물류관리시스템 관리나 수익성 향상을 위해 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 활용해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This paper attempts to study the relationships between environmental uncertainty and logistics management system sophistication, and the impacts of fit between two constructs on firm’s logistics performance. To test the hypothesis which are proposed with respect to the impacts of environment on the logistics management system sophistication and of fit between two constructs on firm’s logistics performance, an empirical research was conducted on 236 firms. For the purpose of the empirical research, this paper used the questionnaire survey data. On the basis of the results in this empirical research, the findings of this paper can be summarized as follows. First, the result of H1 shows that logistics management system sophistications are influenced directly by environmental uncertainty. Second, firms with high fit were performing significantly better than firms with low fit. An important finding of this paper is that fit between environmental uncertainty and logistics management system sophistication is universally applicable for all types of firms. The results of this paper help to enhance the firms to become aligned and focused on improving the competitive strategies of logistics system.
