낭만주의와 고전주의가 공존하는 그리고레 알렉산드레스쿠의 문학 세계

국문 초록

루마니아 문예 부흥을 예고하는 시기에 그리고레 알렉산드레스 쿠는 볼테르와 브왈로우의 영향을 받아 고전주의의 서간문과 우화를, 라마르틴의 낭만주의의 특징인 사색적인 명상시와 애정시를 썼다. 서구 문화 발전에 가장 큰 역할을 한 두 사조-고전주의와 낭만주의-를 같이 추구하면서 두 사조의 특징을 우화와 시를 통하여 잘 살리어 냈다. 어린 시절 그리스 철학과 프랑스 고전주의에 대해 탐구하고 청년 시절 낭만주의 서정시에 매료되었던 그는 연대기순의 두 사조를 역순으로 하여 작품을 발표하였다. 그래서 본 논문의 제목에 낭만주의를 앞에 두고, 고전주의를 뒤에 두었다. 낭만주의 경향의 사색적인 명상시는 죽음에 대한 애착, 폐허와 밤의 배경과 함께 전통적으로 호소하는 간결한 기원을 보여주며,강렬한 아이러니를 포함하는 낭만주의의 사색적인 질문과 열정적인 어조를 사용하였다. 밤이 펼쳐지는 모습을 신비스럽게 묘사했고, 유령의 출현과 기원은 음악적인 기법을 사용하여 표현하였다. 그의 사색적인 애정시는 끓어오르는 격렬한 사랑이나 죽은 연인을 잊지못하여 꿈과 환상 속에서 애타게 찾거나 열정이나 연인에 대한 그리움으로 죽음을 격정적으로 갈구하지 않았다. 알렉산드레스쿠의 애정시는 지나치게 회의적이고 염세주의적인 측면은 강하지 않다. 그의 시는 여인과의 사랑에 대한 감상적이고 서정적이며, 사색적인 면이 강한 명상시이다. 고전주의의 도덕성이 강조되는 우화에서 당시 정치, 윤리의 문제를 다루고 있으며, 반민주적 인물이나 보수적인 태도 등을 공격하였다. 시인이 살고 있던 시대의 인물들을 동물로 의인화하면서 신랄하게 비판하고 냉소하는 모습에서 인간의 우스꽝스러운 약점과 그것을 깨닫지 못하는 어리석음을 보여주었던 몰리에르의 희극을 엿볼 수 있다. 한 순간의 행운으로 고위 관직에 오르고, 벼락부자가 된 소의 이기주의적이고 기회주의자적인 모습은 그 시대의 타락한 혁명 지도자들을 비유하였다, 더불어 악의 근원은 외부가 아니라,비로 우리가 살고 있는 이 곳이며, 악을 만들어내는 이 또한 우리의 형제, 친척이라는 것을 드러내며, 인간은 조건 없이 모두 평등하다는 주제를 담고 있다.

영문 초록

The end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century heralded a real start in Romanian literature. It was a period of evolution and breakaway of the structural univers specific to literature from the onhomogeneous and polychrome area of the earlier written culture. Moreover, it was a final breakaway from the previous cultural world, determined by a radical change of the Romanian society (an accelerated process of westernisation and liberalisation, the change of the literary language by its connection to the European styles, as well as of the institutional aspect of culture). The first half of the 19th century was a time of great project for the creation of a national literature, as well as of diversification (after 1830 all the possible genres were approached) and professionalisation of writing. The renewal of language included also improper or caricatural expression, hence the urgent appel launched by the 1848 Generation, The tendency to arouse the national awareness and the revolutionary political ideology typical of the year 1848 lent literary creation such specific features as love of the common people, visionariness, hero, worship, patriotism, the folt inspiration. And this time was called romanticism and classicism`s intermixture era and preparing time of Romanian Renaissance. The predominant current of those times, Romanticism, blended in an original synthesis with pre-Romanticism and Classicism; it was under the sign os such an aesthetic structure that developed the creation of the poet, dramatist and prose-writer Vasile Alecsandri (1821-1890), leader such as poet, linguist and philosopher Ion Heliade Rădulescu (1802-1872), Costache Negruzzi (1808-1868), founder of historical shortstory in Romanian letters with his Alexandru Lăpuşneanu, Vasile Cârlova (1809-1831) and Grigore Alexandrescu (1812-1885). Of a noble family, Grigore Alexandrescu was active in secret revolutionary societies. In his fables he commented ironically on the complications of living in a Russian protectorate and tried to encourage pride in the national heritage. In the romantic lyric poems-meditative poems recalls the greatness of the Romanian past. And through the classcial fables he revealed politician hypocrisy, egosim and opportunism at that time.
