토론수업에서 학습자의 협동적, 경쟁적 학습스타일과 자기주도성이 동료평가와 토론만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 토론수업에 영향을 줄 수 있는 학습자 특성으로서 협동적 학습스타일, 경쟁적 학습스타일, 자기주도성을 상정하여 이들 변수가 동료평가, 토론만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하고자 하였다 이를 위하여 학생들의 협동적, 경쟁적 학습스타일과 자기주도성을 설문을 통해 조사하였으며 토론수업을 진행 한 후 토론수업에 대한 만족도와 같은 조 동료들의 참여 수준과 기여도 등에 대한 동료평가를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째 상관관계 분석에서는 협동적 학습스타일이 동료평가, 토론만족도와 절적 상관관계가 있는 반면 경쟁적 학습스타일은 동료평가, 토론만족도와 유의미한 상관관계가 없었으며 자기주도성은 토론만족도와 상관이 나타났다. 또한 협동적 학습스타일과 경쟁적 학습스타일 모두 자기주도성과 정적 상관이 있었으나 경쟁적 학습스타일과의 상관계수가 다소 높게 나타났다. 둘째 회귀분석 결과에서는 협동적 학습스타일만이 동료평가와 토론만족도를 설명하는 영향력 있는 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 토론수업에 있어 협동적 학습스타일의 중요성을 확인할 수 있었으며 학습자의 협동적 학습스타일을 촉진하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

As the advantages and values of discussion were recognized, more attention should be paid to implement discussion class effectively. This research was purposed to investigate the influences of college students' collaborative and competitive learning style, and self-direction as learner characteristics on level of satisfaction and peer-evaluation. For this research, learners' characteristics were measured at first, then 4-times discussions by groups were implemented in a class during a semester, after that, students took part in a survey related with level of satisfaction in discussion and evaluated their peers in the same group. The research findings are as follows: The first, collaborative learning style had significant correlations with peer-evaluation and level of satisfaction, but competitive learning style didn't have any correlation with peer-evaluation and level of satisfaction, and also there was meaningful correlation between self-direction and level of satisfaction. The second, as a result of regression, the only influential factor on peer-evaluation and satisfaction in discussion class was collaborative learning style. By these results, we can identify the importance of collaborative learning style in discussion class, so this research suggested the facilitate the learners' collaborative learning style in aspects of creating a instructional environments.
