열린 평생학습사회에서 성인학습자의 열정 회복

국문 초록

우리는 ‘평생학습사회’를 어떠한 시각에서 바라보며, 재구조화의 기저를 구축할 것인가? 이 논문의 문제의식은 안드라고지의 실천되는 기저에서 페다고지의 고착된 시각에 매몰되게 하는 지속적인 흐름을 발견하고, 평생학습사회의 지향 자체를 흔들리게 하는 표류의 맥락을 드러내는데 있다. 이는 안드라고지 지향을 페다고지 세계관에 다시 종속시키는 ‘구성의 오류’이다. 이러한 맥락에서 평생학습의 재구조화의 방식이 무엇인가에 대한 규명이 필요하다. 안드라고지는 페다고지에서 좌절된 성인학습자의 열정을 되살려나아갈 뿐만 아니라, 삶의 질곡을 긴밀하게 상호공참하여 문제해결하는 탈출구로서 강력한 소통세계를 열어나아가는 희망을 실천할 수 있다. 광명시 평생학습원의 ‘소외계층을 위한 인문학 프로그램 모델’에서 살펴보듯, 성인학습자의 소외된 열정세계는 단절을 넘어서는 탈출구로서 상호소통의 세계를 열어나아감으로써 평생학습사회의 표류를 극복하는 중요한 분출구이다. 특히 안드라고지의 네트워크 학습은 성인학습자의 소외된 열정으로부터 현실적 삶의 질곡을 상호협력적으로 문제해결하며, 새로운 생성의 시각에서 자신의 삶과 세계를 바라보는 관조와 성찰로서 초대한다. 안드라고지 네트워크 학습은 개인과 사회의 공진화세계로 이끌 뿐만 아니라, 쌍방향적-시너지적-다차원적 소통세계로 확장한다. 안드라고지 네트워크 학습의 중요성은 이미 있는 자원을 활발히 네트워킹하고 소외된 열정세계를 활성화할 뿐만 아니라, 다각도의 차원에서 증폭되는 새로운 참여와 접속의 소통세계를 상호호혜하는 흐름으로 전환하는 평생학습사회의 새로운 지평을 펼쳐지게 하는데 있다. 무엇보다도 평생학습사회에서 성인학습자의 마비된 열정을 회복하기 위해서는 선견(先見)하는 프로메테우스 교육의 가치가 지배적인 학교교육으로부터 에피메테우스 가치의 후원-지지-격려하는 상호협력의 인프라 구축 즉 평생학습사회의 재구조화 기저로부터 양자간의 ‘상보적 균형’이 절실히 요구되는 것이다.

영문 초록

From what viewpoint are we looking at ‘a lifelong learning society’, and how are we securing a base for restructuring? Problem mind of this thesis intends to point out the veins of drifting that exercise influential power continuously and shake a direction itself of a lifelong learning society by getting oneself absorbed into a fixed viewpoint looking from a practiced base of andragogy to pedagogy. It is ‘an error of composition’that subordinates the andragogy world into the pedagogy world-view again. In this result it is necessary to clarify what a mode of restructuring for lifelong learning is. Andragogy is ‘an escape way’ to find out solving of urgent problems in an actual life from a wall severed mutually, and it makes passion of neglected adult learners be empowered and refluxed through gushing of mutually joining learning and mutual communication. As andragogy is an escape way, hope, which is going to open the strong communication world to revive passion of numerous adult learners neglected in pedagogy by means of problem solving of the fetters of life through close mutual joining, can be suggested in the realistic veins. As can be seen in ‘the cultural-science program model for neglected adult learners’of the lifelong learning school in Gwangmyeong City, the neglected passion world of adult learners is an escape way beyond severance, and also it is an important exhaust nozzle to overcome drifting of a lifelong learning society by opening and brightening the world of mutual communication. Especially network learning of andragogy problem-solves the fetters of life in a mutual cooperative way from neglected passion of adult learners, and it invites them into contemplation and self-examination that sees one’s life in the viewpoint of new generation. Andragogy network learning expands into the bi-directional-synergetic- multidimensional communication world, and it is led into the resonating world of individuals and society. Importance of andragogy network learning is that it not only creates networking of the existing resources actively and activates the neglected passion world, but also it is a new horizon of a lifelong learning society that can turn into mutually communicating and favoring flow by means of the communication world of new participation and connection to amplify in a multiple dimension. First of all, to restore paralyzed passion of adult learners in a lifelong learning society, complementary balance between both learning is urgently needed from the base of building up mutually cooperating infrastructure that sponsors-supports-encourages Epimethean value from school education being governed by the value of foreseeing Promethean education, namely, from the restructuring base of a lifelong learning society.
