입학사정관제 운영 평가 지표 개발

국문 초록

세계화의 환경 속에서 교과 시험 성적뿐만 아니라 창의력,문제해결 능력,특기,리더십 봉사성 등 다양한 잠재력을 갖춘 학생을 선발하고 교육할 필요성이 제기됨에 따라 최근 우리나라 교육 당국은 입학사정관제를 도입하였다.이 연구는 입학사정관제도의 본질적인 목표와 취지에 부합하게 입학사정관제가 운영되었는가를 평가할 수 있는 실질적인 평가 지표를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다.문헌 검토에서 우리나라 입시제도의 변화와 주요 특징을 살펴봄으로써 입학사정관제의 도입배경과 입학사정관제의 시행 목적 등을 살펴보았다.10개의 입학사정관제 시범 운영 대학의 입학전형 방식을 살펴본 결과 입학사정관제의 초기적인 시행으로 인하여 여전히 시험점수 위주의 전형이 이루어지고 있는 것으로 파악되었다.입학사정관제의 기본 목적에 부합하게 제도를 운영하는가를 평가하기 위하여 사업운영,사업내용,사업성과,연구성과,후속 사업 계획의 분야에서 62개의 평가 지표를 개발하였으며 평가 지표별로 구체적인 평가 내용을 제시함으로써 추후 평가 척도를 개발하기 위한 기초를 마련하였다.

영문 초록

As the growing request for diverse ability such as creativity, problem solving ability, special ability, leadership, voluntary, etc. in addition to the academic ability in these globalizing world surroundings, Korean education authorities introduced a College Admission Officer System. The purpose of this study is to develop evaluation indicators to authentically evaluate the College Admission Officer System. From examining the changes of college admission system in Korea through literature review, the study investigated the background and the object of the College Admission Officer System's introduction. It was found that 10 model colleges which operate the College Admission Officer System still selected the applicants mainly according to their academic test scores.The study developed 62 evaluation indicator swith detailed assessment contents for each indicator in operation running area, operation contents area, operation out comes area, research outcomes area, succeeding operation plan area. The detailed assessment contents for each indicator provide the basis for the following development of evaluation scale.
