초등영재와 일반아동의 자기결정성동기와 자기조절학습간의 관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등 영재와 일반아동간의 자기결정성 동기와 자기조절학습간에는 어떠한 관계가 있는 가를 밝혀보는데 있었다. 연구 대상은 초등학교 5～6학년에 재학 중인 일반아동 121명과 대학 부설 영재교육원에 재학 중인 영재 98명이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 영재들은 일반아동들에 비해 자기결정성 동기의 하위 요인 중에서 부과된 조절과 내적 조절 점수가 통계적으로 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기조절학습의 모든 하위요인에서 영재들의 점수가 일반학생들의 점수보다 높았으며, 인지 조절 요인 중에서 조절 요인을 제외하고 자기조절학습의 모든 하위 요인에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 영재와 일반아동집단 모두 자기결정성이 많이 포함된 동기 유형에 가까울수록 자기조절학습과의 상관이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 내적 조절이 자기조절학습을 가장 많이 설명해 주며, 영재집단에서는 무동기 집단과 외적 조절 집단에 비해 부과된 조절 집단, 확인된 조절집단, 내적 조절 집단의 점수가 높게 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences between gifted students and general students in elementary school by comparing their self-determination motivation and self-regulated learning. The subjects of this study were 98 gifted students in the fifth and sixth grades from the gifted education center and 121 general students in the fifth and sixth grades. The study findings were as follows: First, The gifted students showed higher scores on the introjected regulation and intrinsic regulation than those of the general students. Second, the gifted students showed a higher score on all over the self-regulated learning with its subordinate factors except regulation factor in cognitive regulation domain. Third, motivations that are stronger self-determination showed more positive correlations with subordinate factors of the self-regulated learning in both groups. For the result of multiple regression analysis, intrinsic regulation was the most significantprediction variable on the self-regulated learning in both groups.
