일본에서의 정치경제지도자양성의 실천사례

국문 초록

본 논문은 마츠시타 정경숙의 사례연구를 통해 지도자 양성교육을 분석하고 우리나라 지도자 양성교육에 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 일본의 정치가양서기관인 마츠시타 정경숙의 실천에 주목하여 정경숙 회고록, 논픽션작가의 정경숙 합숙기, 저널기사, 그리고 현지시찰자료를 토대로 하여 29년간의 역사적 변화 속에 나타난 지도자교육의 특징을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 정경숙의 지도자교육 및 실천의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째로 정경숙은 학습 환경의 확대와 교육 방법의 통합을 통하여 지도자로서의 사회적 경험과 이해의 폭을 넓히는 교육을 실천한다. 둘째로 정경숙의 실천 지향적 교육의 독자성은 만사연수와 자수자득을 주장한 설립자의 이념, 기관의 지도부의 방침, 그리고 정경숙의 교육자원의 영향 하에 형성되었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 지도자교육에 필요한 방향으로서의 실천지향성, 사회지향성, 자원연계성 등의 몇 가지 이론적·실천적 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Leader education has recently been expanding in various areas in our society. This study aimed for searching implications to leader education by conducting a case study to investigate the leader cultivation program of Matsushita Seikeizyuku, a Japan's political and economic leader education institute and its remarkable achievements and changes in practice shown in the last twenty nine years. To achieve this purpose, this study investigated the changes historically shown in Matsushita Seikeizyuku's leader education system and curriculum through analysis on data from on-site visit, interviews of personnel, as well as various documents such as reflective journals of the personnel, trainees' reports, and articles from a monthly. The study reveals important characteristics of Matsushita Seikeizyuku's leader cultivation program: first, Mastusita Seikeizyuku is a practice-oriented institute first aims to broaden the social experience and understanding of an aspiring political leader. Second, to relate the idea like 'To learn from All Things' of the founder, Mastusita Konosuke, of changing organizational policies and resources for education like operation funds. This study suggests that leadership education should accommodate experiential learning which combines knowledge generated in class and experiences from social activities in various fields.
