열린교육의 재정립을 위한 회고와 전망

국문 초록

  열린교육이 시작되어 뿌리 내린지 20여년이 되었다. 본 연구는 20년간의 열린교육의 변천을 살펴보고, 일린교육의 핵심인 열린교육의 정의를 현대과학이론에 기초하여 새롭게 해석하여 앞으로 열린교육의 나아갈 방향을 제시하는 데에 목적이 있다. 일린교육의 변천은 열린교육연구소에 비치되어 있는 문서와 자료 그리고 관련자들의 면담에 터하여 (1)풀뿌리운동에서 (2)국가차원 5. 31교육과 시ㆍ도교육청명가 (3) 혼동기 교실수업개선으로 (4)변혁기 학회활동의 양적ㆍ질적 성장으로 정리하였다. 열린교육의 정의는 열린교육강령 중 열린교육이 지향하는 5가지를 현대과학의 패러다임인 ‘불확정성 원리’, ‘홀론이론’ ‘카오스이론’의 시각에서 재정립 하였다. 열린교육의 나아갈 방향으로는 학문적 재정립과 생태주의 관점에서의 협력체제를 제시하였다. 초창기의 열린교육이 제7차 교육괴정을 이끌어 내었다면, 열린교육이 사반세기를 맞이하면서 열린 교육의 재정립을 통해 지속적인 지도력을 발휘할 때만이 또 다른 한국교육개혁의 선두주자가 될 수 있으리라 본다.

영문 초록

  It has been 20 years since Yeolin Education has been established and rooted. The purpose of this study was to seek the transformation of Yeolin Education throughout the past 20 years, and will attempt to newly define what Yeolin Education via contemporary scientific paradigms in order to provide novel directions that Yeolin Education may advance toward. For the this study The documents and material related to the history of the transformation of Yeolin Education are situated at The Korean Institute of Yeolin Education and I have relied on these in addition to interviews with those who are related to trace the history of Yeolin Education.
  I have classified the results of this inquiry from the perspective of the following categories. From the perspective of: (1) The grass root movement (2) The perspective of the 5ㆍ31 education reform and city and province evaluations (3) The chaotic period: the improvement of instructions (4) The innovation period: the qualitative and quantitative enhancement of academic activities. I have redefined the 5 objectives that Yeolin Education aspires toward via three contemporary scientific notions: "the principle of uncertainty", "holon theory" and "chaos theory". In addition to this I have presented new collaborative systems that Yeolin Education can advance toward by means of ecological paradigm and reestablishment of academic theories.
  In conclusion, early Yeolin Education has successfully brought about the 7th national curriculum it is only with continuous endeavor to reestablish Yeolin education with the leadership that is needed for this can Yeolin education continue to contribute as a leading renovator of Korean Education.
