국문 초록

  본 연구는 벤처기업의 경영자특성, 기업역량특성 및 환경특성이 해외시장 유통업자 역량의 레버리지와 수출성과에 미치는 영향에 대하여 이론적인 모형을 도출하고 실증적인 연구결과를 제시하였다. 국내 181개의 벤처기업을대상으로 구조방정식모형을 분석한 결과, 경영자의 해외경험 및 기업가 지향성, 기술적 역량은 벤처기업의 수출성과에 직접적인 유의한 영향을 갖는 것으로 나타났다.
  이들 변수 외에 마케팅역량은 해외시장 유통업자 역량의 레버리지에도 유의한 영향을 갖는 것으로 나타나 해외시장 유통업자 역량의 레버리지가 벤처기업 자원과 수출성과 간에 유의한 매개효과를 지닌 것을 보여주어 이론적 시사점을 제공하고 있다.
  또한, 본 연구결과는 벤처기업들의 수출과정에서 경영자 특성과 기술적 역량 특성 뿐 아니라 유통업자역량의 레버리지능력이 벤처기업들이 태생적 자원제약을 효과적으로 극복하는 수단이 되며 높은 수출성과 달성에 기여할 수 있다는 실무적 시사점을 제공해 준다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 한계점과 미래 연구방향에 대해서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

  This study, with its empirical data, develops a theoretical model of the influence of top management characteristics, firm capabilities characteristics, and environment characteristics on foreign distributor"s competence leveraging and export performance by drawing on Resource Based View(RBV).
  Structural equation modeling analysis by using 181 small export ventures provides a support for the hypotheses. The result showed that the international experience and entrepreneurial orientation of CEO, and technological capability have positive influence on the export performance of the small export ventures significantly. Besides, international experience and entrepreneurial orientation of CEO, technological capability and marketing capability affect the foreign distributor"s cometence leveraging, which shows the useful relationship of exports performance and accordingly it is proved that the foreign distributor"s cometence leveraging has mediating effect between the venture firm"s internal resource characteristics and export performance.
  The result of this study suggests that venture firms should utilize CEO"s resources and develop technological capability aggressively to overcome their "born-resource limitations" effectively and exploit and leverage foreign distributor"s cometence effectively during their export process. further study direction were discussed as a final.
