국문 초록
백제고고학에서는 풍납토성과 가락동ㆍ석촌동고분, 백제토기라는 신기종의 출현으로 한성기 백제를 정의하고, 몽촌토성출토 중국자기의 상한연대와 문헌기록에 의존하여 3세기 중후반을 그 시점(始點)으로 하고 있다.
본고에서는 백제토기의 대표적인 기종인 직구단경호와 삼족반을 대상으로 형식 분류와 편년을 행하였다. 연대설정의 방법은 동반유물 특히 금속유물(馬具, 盛矢具)을 타지역 출토품과 비교하고, 또한 타지역에서 출토된 백제토기를 동반하는 유물과 교차편년 하였다. 이 결과 직구단경호는 4세기 중엽, 한성1기의 대표적 유물로 취급되던 삼족반은 5세기 중엽에 출현하고 두 기종 모두 6세기 전반까지 지속하였다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
마한이 서진견사를 행한 3세기 후반과 고구려내습에 의한 웅진천도의 475년을 백제한성양식 고고자료의 상한과 하한의 기준으로 삼던 백제고고학의 연대비정 방법은 재고되어야 할 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록
In archaeological studies on Backje(百濟), The Backje Hansung Phase is defined as the appearance of Poongnab mud fortification(風納土城), GarakdongㆍSokchondong mounds(可樂洞ㆍ石村洞 古墳群) and new pottery type, ‘the pottery of Backje’. And its dating (the mid to late third century A.D.) is depends on the start point of Chinese porcelain and historical records.
On this study did classification and chronology to standing necked jar and tripod water vessel which was the prevailing forms of Backje pottery.
The method of chronology compared combination relics especially metal relics (horse trappings, a quiver) with other region relics, also did cross-dating relics which accompanied with Backje pottery excavated at other region.
As a result, standing necked jar appeared in mid-forth century and tripod water vessel, the representative vessel type of the Backje Hansung PhaseⅠ appeared in mid-fifth century. And they lasted until early sixth century.
The method of dating in archaeological studies on Backje that the latter half of the 3rd century when Mahan(馬韓) did send an envoy to Western Tsin(西晉) and 475 years of the transfer of the capital to Woonjing by Goguryeo(高句麗) attack based of a upper limit and inferior limit of Backje Hansung style need to reconsidered.
