농학생과 가청학생의 단어재인 과정 비교 연구

국문 초록

  본 연구는 농학생의 단어재인 과정 분석을 통해 단어재인 방법의 논쟁에 대한 하나의 대안을 제시하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상은 독해 수준을 동질화 한 농 중？고등학생 57명과 가청 초등 3학년 학생 50명이었다. 단어재인 과정을 확인하기 위해 범주결정과제, 의미판단 점화과제를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 농학생의 한글 단어재인 과정은 음운재부호화를 통해 이루어진다는 확실한 증거가 없으며, 한글 단어재인 과정에서 표기부호는 음운부호 만큼 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 이 결과는 한글 단어재인 과정에서 음운재부호화 가설이나 이중경로 가설 중 어떤 모형으로도 한글 단어재인 과정을 명확하게 설명하기 어려우며, 한글 단어재인 과정에서 두 모형이 상호 보완적으로 작용함을 나타낸다.

영문 초록

  This research is to show the one alternation of the issues about the word recognition method through word recognition process of deaf students. The subjects were 57 deaf students of middle and high schools for the deaf and 50 hearing 3rd grade primary school students. Categorization task and meaning decision priming task were given to find out the characteristic of word recognition. To find out word recognition, ANOVA was used with error rate and reaction time as dependence variables and each factors as independence variables.
  Results are following. There is no evidence that Hangul word recognition process of deaf students is carried out through phonological recording hypothesis, and orthographic cord plays the same important role as phonological cord. This result says that in Hangul word recognition process, even any hypothesis between phonological recording hypothesis and dual-route hypothesis was difficult to exactly explain Hangul word recognition process and two hypotheses function complementarily.
