열린 교육의 재 개념화에 기초한 열린 행정가의 지속적인 지도력

국문 초록

  본 연구는 열린 교육의 재도약과 지속을 위해 열린 교육의 개념을 재 개념화하고 이에 기초하여 행정가에 역할을 살펴 본 후, 열린 교육의 지속을 위해 행정가의 지속적인 지도력의 방향을 제시하는 데에 목적이 있다. 구체적인 내용은 열린 교육 강령의 지양점과 지향점을 뉴턴 데카르트 세계관과 현대 과학 세계관으로 재 개념화 하였다. 현대 과학 세계관에 비추어 행정가의 역할을 자율성을 존중하는 행정가, 상보적 관점에서의 수업지도성을 발휘하는 행정가, 그리고 자기를 조직하는 변혁적 행정가로 보았다.
  열린 교육의 지속을 위해서는 최근 등장한 지속적 지도력이 요구된다는 시각에 본고에서는 지속적 지도력의 개념과 실행 범위를 살펴보았다. 지속적 지도력의 개념은 공공의 가치와 도덕적 목적 추구, 네트워크 전체를 통해 체계적인 전략 활용, 단기간ㆍ장기간의 결과를 위한 이중의 수행, 끊임없는 조절 장치로서의 지도력으로 규정하였다. 이를 실행하기 위한 지속적 지도력의 범위로는 학교 차원의 지도력, 지역청 차원의 지도력과 시스템 차원의 지도력으로 보고 각 차원의 구체적인 전력을 제시하였다. 열린 교육의 확산은 행정가들의 지속적 지도력을 이론과 실천 차원에서 부단히 전략을 탐구하고 실행하는 노력에 달려 있다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to re-conceptualize the notion of "yeolin education" for the purpose of the further development and sustaining of ‘yeolin education’. On the basis of this re-conceptualization, the role of the administrator will be examined, and in which direction the leadership of the administrator should be sustained for the purpose of advancing and maintaining ‘yeolin education’ will be suggested. The the principles of ‘yeolin education’ and the goals they aspire toward will be contrasted with those of the Newtonian-Cartesian worldview. It will be argued that the goals and aspirations of ‘yeolin education’ come closer to those of contemporary science and will be re-conceptualized in terms of contemporary science. In ‘yeolin education’ the relational autonomy and relational instructional leadership of the administrator is valued. Furthermore, the ability to conduce the situation the administrator is situated in to self-organize and transform is emphasized. The practice of ‘sustainable leadership’ is constituted by the following components which will be further explained and developed in this investigation: (1) Public service with a moral purpose (2) Developing lateral capacity through building through networks (3) Dual commitment to short-term and long -term results (4) Defining leadership as the recycling and regulating of energy and cultivating this leadership-energy at the level of the school, district and the system as a whole and searching for concrete strategies to do this.
  The future development of ‘yeolin education’ is dependent on the efforts of the administrators to develop this notion of ‘sustainable leadership’ in theory and practice, that is, in their endeavor to develop novel strategies for the realization of ‘sustainable leadership’ and putting them into practice.
