공동경험 구성과정에 대한 설명가능성 - 경험학습론과 공동체학습론에 대한 비판적 검토

국문 초록

  본 논의는 기존의 경험학습 논의가 경험의 중요한 속성인 상호작용성보다는 개인적인 반성을 강조하는 논의로 전개되어온 과정을 비판적으로 살펴보고, 공동체 학습론과 조직학습론에서 공동경험에 대해서 설명할 수 있는 가능성을 포괄적으로 검토하였다. 공동체 학습론과 조직학습론을 통해 공동학습이 개인학습을 지원하면서 시너지 효과를 발생시키는 차원, 대화와 협력을 통한 학습방법의 유용성, 공동학습을 통한 집단의 비전과 정체성 형성의 가능성, 개별경험의 차원으로 환원될 수 없는 공동학습의 차원 등이 밝혀졌다고 볼 수 있다. 하지만 여전히 개인경험과 공동경험의 구분과 관계 규정 문제, 공동학습의 목적설정 문제, 공동학습에서 공유되어야 하는 것과 공유방법의 문제, 개인들의 기존경험을 뛰어넘는 혁신적 학습의 가능성을 모색해야 하는 것이 추가적으로 해결되어야 할 과제로 남아있다. 본 논의는 이론적 검토를 통해, 이러한 측면이 향후 개인의 선행경험이 공동의 경험으로 조직화되는 과정에 대한 구체적인 사례연구를 통해서 설명될 수 있어야 한다는 필요성과 과제를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

  Experience seems private and inaccessible from others, but when we are experiencing, it is within the context of collective thought and shared situations. So to understand experience, we have to focus on the collective experience within a social context, such as a community. But as theory of experiential learning has been developed, the focus has moved on the individual reflection following the concrete experience.
  The theory of community learning and organization learning is more focused on collective learning. These theories found out that 1) collective learning makes synergy within participators, 2) dialogue and collaboration is effective as a way of learning, 3) it"s possible to develop collective vision and identification, and 4) there is "α", which cannot be reduced to individual learning.
  But there remain some thesis to be explored and developed: 1) how to explain the connection between individual experience and collective experience, 2) where to locate the purpose of collective learning, 3) what to be shared and how to be shared, 4) how to make it possible to exceed the limit of individual experience and make a innovative collective learning. These aspects should be explained through the case study which explores the organizing process of individual prior experience into a collective experience.
