성인교육자의 교수동기, 몰입 및 주관적 안녕감 간의 관계

국문 초록

  본 연구는 성인교육자의 교수동기척도(TMSAE)를 바탕으로 교수동기, 몰입, 그리고 주관적 안녕감의 정도와 차이를 밝히고, 이들 간의 관계를 분석하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 평생교육기관에서 강의를 하고 있는 211명의 성인교육자 이었으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
  성인교육자들의 교수동기는 전반적으로 내적 교수동기는 높은 반면, 외적 교수동기는 비교적 낮은 것으로, 몰입정도는 매우 높은 수준인 것으로, 그리고, 주관적 안녕감은 비교적 높은 수준의 안녕감을 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 인구통계학적 배경변인별로 성인교육자의 교수동기, 몰입, 주관적 안녕감에 차이가 있는지를 분석한 결과, 성별과 강의분야별로는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 연령별, 학력별, 교육기관별, 경력별로는 교수동기, 몰입, 주관적 안녕감 중 적어도 한 분야에서 차이가 있었다. 성인교육자를 소속 평생교육기관 유형별로 나누어 성인교육자의 교수동기, 몰입, 주관적 안녕감에 차이가 있는지를 분석한 결과, 몰입, 내적교수동기, 주관적 안녕감에 있어서 차이가 있었다. 그리고, 성인교육자의 교수동기, 몰입, 주관적 안녕감의 관계 모델에 대해서 구조방정식 모델을 통하여 분석하였다. 이들 연구결과들을 바탕으로 성인교육자의 충원 및 역량강화를 위한 방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of the study was to investigate the differences of teaching motivation, flow, and subjective well-being in terms of gender, age, and the type of life long education institution. Subjects were 211 adult educators who are teaching at the life long education institution.
  The findings of the study were as follows. First, the mean of adult educators" internal teaching motivation was 71.92 ranging from 18 to 90, while that of adult educators" external teaching motivation was 49.57 ranging from 18 to 90. It implied adult educators had more internal teaching motivation than external teaching motivation. In addition to that, adult educators showed relatively high flow and subjective well-being level.
  Second, there were significant differences of teaching motivation, flow, and subjective well-being in terms of age, education level, life long education institution, and career. Also, there were significant differences of internal teaching motivation, flow, and subjective well-being in terms of lifelong education institution.
  Third, internal teaching motivation and external teaching motivation had effect on flow, and internal teaching motivation, external teaching motivation, and flow influenced adult educators" subjective well-being. They were proven by performing the structural equation modeling.
