계층분석적의사결정기법을 적용한 특수교육정보화 지수 분석

국문 초록

  정보통신기술이 교육 분야에 융합되면서 특수교육 분야에서 컴퓨터 및 보조공학은 장애를 보완하고 지원하며 직？간접적인 교육의 도구로 사용될 수 있는 잠재력을 갖고 있는 것으로 기대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 특수교육정보화에 대한 정확한 실태를 보다 객관적으로 파악하기 위해서 인프라, 지원, 활용, 성과 영역으로 구성된 특수교육정보화 지표에 근거하여 129개 특수학교와 906개 특수학급을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행, 분석하였다. 또한 계층분석적의사결정기법을 적용하여 지표별 가중치에 근거하여 특수교육정보화 지수를 산출, 분석하였다. 연구결과, 특수학교는 인프라 및 지원 영역 지수가 활용이나 성과 영역 지수보다 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특수학급은 학교 차원에서 갖춰져야 하는 행ㆍ재정 및 시설 관련 부분에서는 특수학교보다 수준이 낮았지만 PC 사용이 가능한 학생 비율이 높아 활용 수준은 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구결과에 따른 특수교육정보화의 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

  Computer and assistive technology give us expectations that they compensate disability and could be direct and indirect methods of special education as Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has an influence in education. The study surveyed 129 special schools and 906 special classes, using an indicator of special education technology, to identify objective data of the status on special education technology. The indicator consisted of infrastructure, support, application, and effects. The weight was drawn from pair wise comparison appling Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to identify characteristics between groups. Then, an index was calculated based on the weight.
  As a result, special schools have a higher index in infrastructure and support than that in application and effects, respectively. Special classes have a higher index in application than that in special schools as special classes have relatively more students with disabilities who can use computers by themselves. Finally, the implication of the study was suggested as the following. We need to build up infrastructure for special education technology, to train teachers for appling effectively the technology in their curriculum, to make Web contents with web accessibility consideration, and to provide students with disabilities with assistive technology.
