영문 초록

  This study investigated body composition, physical fitness of classified by fat distribution of 258 male elementary school students attending the elemetary school in Kwangju city.
  The result of the study were as follows;
  1. In factor of percent fat, fat mass, fat-free mass, basal metabolic rate, total body water, body mass index appeared Gynoid group average the highest in three groups.
  2. In factor of plate tapping, sit and reach, and standing broad jump appeared Androgeny group averge and grip strength, bent arm hang and endurance run appered Normal group average and flamingo balance and shuttle run 50m appeared Gynoid group average the highest in three groups.
  3. The correlation coefficient between grip strength and fat free mass, basal metabolic rate, total body water revealed as the highest correlation in Gynoid group.
